Welcome to the peace initiative for Ukraine in which you can contibute by raising your awareness as well as your consciousness[+] and spirit to the modes[+] of neutrality[*], decency, respectfulness, wisdom, objectivity, mastery of the intellect, surrender (ego and mind to God/Holy Spirit), and finally peace (inner then outer). To properly grasp everything, we recommend reading the articles of this peace initiative in the order that we designed it, which is listed in the Contents. So if you haven’t read the previous articles, we urge you to do it, please. Did you read the Intro to this “Beware of Propaganda” segment? Please, do so for a better grasp of the topic of this article.
“A tree is recognized by its fruit… For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.”
“For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
– Bible, Matthew12:33-37[+]
In this article we expose not just many Zelensky’s lies but also Team Zelensky’s lies as well as untrustworthiness and unreliability of Ukraine’s Intelligence Agencies SBU (Security Service of Ukraine) and its military counterpart HUR (the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine).
Before we expose Zelensky's lies, a dis-disclaimer: while there are many “experts” who are keen to expose alleged Putin's lies although they themselves were caught many times lying, too, as specialist rather than expert, the authors here claim not to be one of those “adulterers casting stones” or “the pot calling the kettle black” as we claim never to lie or at least not having lied since the start of this war.
Unfortunately, there are too many people who lie and therefore justify and tolerate also lying of others, believing there is such thing as “white lies” which are acceptable and that sometimes, it is necessary to “bend the truth to help a cause”. Well, it is a rotten cause if it needs lies to be helped. If you are not upset that leaders and authorities lie all the time, you should at least beware that you can't believe them after you realize how much they lied.
Lying is a sin. Liars are losers. There's no need to lie when you have nothing to hide. Liars hide the truth to deceive us. The problem with being a liar is you can never believe anyone else. So, all those who do not believe anything Russians say and are screaming “Putin is a liar” and “Don't believe the Russian propaganda” all the time are just projecting.
It takes courage to tell the truth, so you can detect a coward through his lies. The truth doesn't cost anything but a lie could cost you everything. The Bible contains a number of prohibitions against false witness, lying, spreading false reports, etc.
"Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor"[+] (Exodus 20:16[+]) is one of the Ten Commandments, widely understood as moral imperatives by Jewish and Christian congregations. The narrative in 1 Kings 21[+] describes a case of false testimony.
False witness is among the six things God hates, king Solomon said in the Proverbs 6:16-19[+]. He also repeats it twice in Proverbs 19:5,9[+] that ″A false witness will not go unpunished,″ and “whoever pours out lies will not go free” and “will perish.” If we are to believe the Bible and the richest man who ever lived, king Solomon, due to his countless lies, Zelensky will not go unpunished, will not go free and will perish. The same applies to the whole Team Zelensky, including media and allies abroad who lie.
If you know the truth but, given a chance, you do not speak up or expose those who lie is almost the same as if you lie, too. According to Bible (Leviticus 5[+]), “If anyone sins because they do not speak up when they hear a public charge to testify regarding something they have seen or learned about, they will be held responsible.”
We came across countless pieces of evidence of major and significant lies by Zelensky, his inner circle, Biden, and many other NATO officials, which would fill a whole book, therefore we only can feature some, maybe not the best examples but still enough to serve the purpose.
What is the purpose of exposing Zelensky's lies? Certainly not to offend, slander, or vilify him (God forbid!), although it may come across as such. Most people lie and Zelensky is probably not any worse in that regard than most humans. So, this is not a smear campaign or a character assassination or scapegoating as it is the case with him and his allies doing it on Putin (which is why Zelensky deserves to reap the same treatment but we are not the instrument of that universal law here). The objective here is to prove that Zelensky could not be trusted.
Many people can tell a liar by his body language but most of them can’t, which is why we compiled this list below.
Since most of us in the world, and even most people living in Ukraine, do not get all or most of the information about the war in Ukraine first hand, from our own experience, we rely on others to inform us. However, the question is whom can we trust. Normally, we trust the authorities. But if authorities have been caught lies too many times, then it would be unwise to trust them. This is exactly the point here, Zelensky, Biden[+][ꚛ][»][»][»][+], von der Leyen[+][+], and many other authorities from Kyiv and NATO[+][+] have been caught lying too many times, which is why we should all be cautious about trusting them, especially in the matters of life and death.
Zelensky is called Pinocchio by his own people[+], von der Leyen has a nickname von der Lying[+][+][+]…
Russian authorities[+], such as President Putin, Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitri S. Peskov, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Minister of Defence Sergei Shoigu, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov, on the other hand, in our research proved to be much more trustworthy because we never caught them lying (despite trying hard to find evidence of their lies). They might say things we disagree with but those are their opinions or views, not lies.
We also never caught Russian state media such as TASS, RT, and Sputnik lying, which is actually quite remarkable, especially given that all NATO states media outlets have been caught lying countless times, some of which we will expose in this “Beware of Propaganda” segment, so as to justify their untrustworthiness in the context of being beware of propaganda.
In the context of asking everyone to be cautious of propaganda when assessing what side to take (best would be not to take sides in this conflict), it is very important not to be dragged into supporting Zelensky and his allies based on disinformation and not to be fooled into taking everything Zelensky and his associates and allies (birds of a feather) say as a gospel. Even so-called fact-checking sites are part of propaganda, part of information warfare, and as such can't be trusted, especially if all their fact-checking is in favor of just one side of the conflict.
As a matter of fact, according to our impartial1 research and fact-checking, to our surprise and disappointment, we found out that most of the things Ukrainian and Western authorities have been telling us about the war in Ukraine is either a lie or half-truth. It is not always clear if they intentionally lie or they believe it to be true. Another our finding is that even though both sides engage in propaganda, deception, indoctrination, and disinformation, Russians do it less. We are not saying that they are morally superior but that perhaps this is because they do not have to lie as much or at all because they are winning this war on all levels (military, economic, political).
When it comes to Zelensky's claims, he never bothers to provide any factual or circumstantial evidence but expects us to believe everything he says as if he is a messiah or something to that effect and his words should be taken as a gospel. Surprisingly, too many people do just that, never questioning his integrity even knowing about his motives to lie or exaggerate.
In extremely rare cases when someone dares or is permitted to ask about his sources, his answer is either “Just trust me” or “our intelligence”. To avoid this question, he sometimes starts by saying “according to our data…” What data and who exactly is “our” is never conveyed. How reliable or trustworthy is Zelensky and his intelligence, it is up to each of us to determine by drawing conclusions from the following insights.
It may be okey for a president to assume authority expecting everyone to buy everything he is selling but only if he has a track record of sincerity, integrity, and great achievements as a president and if his team does the due diligence of providing all the evidence but this is not the case here. Zelensky has a track record of lying and pretending to be someone he is not, which was how he made his living before he suddenly became a president. He was an actor up until he was elected and he never stopped being an actor. Just as he never stopped playing his comedy role of a president
In ‘The Servant of the People’ television series, for four years, Zelensky used to play a common guy who suddenly became a president. This was a comedy act that he never got out of. “Zelensky did not leave ‘The Servant of the People’ film. He continues to play his role… He does not think it’s lying … he’s acting.” [»][»] – Andriy Bohdan, former head of the president’s office Ukraine.
A list of some of Zelensky's lies (in chronological order):
➡1. Zelensky lied[+] Ukrainian voters in 2019, giving false campaign promises[»][+][»] on which he based his presidential campaign – people voted for him because he promised he would end corruption[+][+][+][+][+][+] and war in Donbas[+][+][+], negotiate peace with Russia, as well as reconcile the country (pro-West and pro-Russian populace) but instead he did the opposite, breaking all his promises, which can only mean he intentionally lied just to get elected. Although it is common that all presidential candidates break their promises, it is not acceptable that he broke all his promises, which is why he can't be trusted.
➡2. Zelensky lied[»][+] about his family not fleeing Ukraine when Russians attacked: “How could I take the family out? Ordinary people would not understand me.” But his wife admitted later otherwise: “After that, we immediately left abroad… Then I arrived a month and a half later.” Zelensky hid his family abroad from the very start – evidence here[+][+].
➡3. Zelensky lied[+][+] that "a Russian airborne force in Hostomel airport outside Kyiv, which has a big runway, has been stopped and is being destroyed… many Russian warplanes and armored vehicles were destroyed…" This was debunked by a CNN reporter who drove out to take a look and found[»] the Russian Airborne Forces (VDV) just chilling on the perimeter of Antonov airport in Hostomel and he saw no destroyed Russian warplanes and armored vehicles.
➡4. Zelensky falsely announced the heroic resistance and deaths of Snake Island guards[+] in a video, saying each guard would be awarded the title Hero of Ukraine. In an effort to spark heroism and resistance while lacking true heroes and role models, Zelensky and his team[+] invented this story together with alleged evidence in form of an audio recording[»][»]. The tall tale went that 13 border guards were offered a frightening ultimatum by an advancing Russian military unit: Surrender or face an attack. The Ukrainians allegedly responded with a brave refusal and some swearwords before apparently being killed. Audio[»] of the exchange went viral on social media, and the clip posted on 24 February 2022 received millions of views on YouTube glorifying the guards as heroes of resistance. But just days later, it turned out to be fake news as they did indeed surrender to the Russian navy[+]. Ukrainian officials confirmed in a Facebook post[+] that the men were still alive, taken prisoner by Russian forces, which means that the guards did not heroically resist but they surrendered. The guy who allegedly refused to surrender was released from captivity a month later in a prisoners exchange and then given a medal[+] – what for? He did surrender. For mere swearing?
➡5. Zelensky lied[+] that Ukraine was not behind the first explosion on the Crimean Bridge in October 2022. “We definitely didn’t order it,” he told Canadian television channel CTV News. This was then debunked as a lie when Vasyl Maliuk, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) admitted[+][»] to attacking Crimean Bridge in 2022. This lie was further exposed by many Western publications[+].
➡6. Zelensky lied[+] on 15 November 2022, the night of the missile that struck Poland killing Polish civilians that “Russian missiles hit Poland, the territory of our friendly country. People died… This is a Russian missile attack on collective security!” We all know now that this was a Ukrainian S-300 anti-aircraft missile, as Polish and NATO members including US President Joseph Biden[+] have since confirmed. Liar, liar, pants on fire, nose as long as a telephone wire. Even so and despite all the mounting evidence, Zelensky was still sticking to his line[+], further blaming Russia for the strike, which proves that it was not the case of him not knowing the truth at first and later finding out the truth, as he also never apologized for falsely blaming Russia. Or maybe he has no decency to admit when he is wrong. It is likely that this was meant as a Ukrainian false flag operation to blame it on Russia attacking a NATO country and so get NATO to join the war with troops on the ground as per Article 5 of the NATO Treaty. Zelensky claimed that this was Russians firing missiles at NATO territory and calling for NATO intervention.
➡7. Zelensky lied[+][+] on 3 May 2023, after the drone attack on Kremlin[+]: "We don't attack Putin or Moscow. We fight on our territory. We are defending our villages and cities." Some 20 days later, The New York Times[+] and CNN[+] exposed his lie. American spy agencies suggested it was part of a series of covert operations orchestrated by Ukraine’s security services. There were many other (before and after) attacks on Moscow's civilian buildings and other Russian places[+], which were all widely acknowledged as Ukrainian attacks, further exposing Zelensky's lie about Ukraine not attacking Moscow and only fighting on Ukrainian territory.
Ukraine’s military “intelligence”2 chief, Kyrylo Budanov, exposed Zelensky's lie, too, when he said in an interview in September 2023[+] “Let's put it like this, we have never confirmed [attacks on Moscow] officially (Budanov laughs) and I will be keeping that stance. But I can share my opinion about those strikes.” He then gave the Ukrainian motives for that and other drone attacks on Moscow: “…Especially when we're talking about the obviously decreasing demand for Russian weapons because when the whole world sees that some drones are attacking Moscow, nobody wants to buy Russian air defense systems any longer. And that is very painful for them.” “This shattered their illusions of safety”[+]. Budanov also acknowledged[+][+][+] that his agency is behind terrorist attacks against a number of media personalities in Russia and made a horrific promise[+] to “keep killing Russians anywhere in the world” (that includes Moscow), which further exposes Zelensky's claims as mere lies.
Time for a joke:) Ukrainian commander: “Mr. President, Kremlin is now liberated.”
Zelensky: “Crimea! I said Crimea!”
➡8. Zelensky lied[+][»] in July 2023 about Russians intending to blow up their own Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) and allegedly “placing explosives on the roof of several power units of the ZNPP”, which was then exposed as lie by Kyiv’s “Intelligence” chief Budanov[+] and the UN nuclear watchdog[»][+][+][+] – International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) found no mines or explosives on the roofs of the Russian-held ZNPP. US officials claimed that NATO would enter into the war if Russia makes a nuclear attack in Ukraine (which would harm neighboring NATO states), thus, with a failing counteroffensive, desperate Kyiv regime3 seeks to draw NATO directly into the conflict by attempting to stage a false flag operation causing a nuclear catastrophe, which Budanov admitted[+] after all attempts failed. Reminiscent of false allegation of Iraqi WMD and Syrian chemical weapons, it became obvious that this time it would not pass, especially because of a missing motive for the Russians to blow up their own power plant that provides power, electric energy, to their people and that would radiate Russian people living there and contaminate agricultural fields under Russian control. If Russia wanted for some reason to blow up a NPP, it would make more sense to do it on a NPP under Ukrainian control rather than Russian, such as Rovno NPP, and Khmelnitsky NPP. The main levers of propaganda were concentrated in the corrupt hands of Zelensky's main adviser Podolyak who capitalized on the hysteria with the ZNPP as his wife owns the largest pharmacy chain, which catered to Ukrainians who in a panic ran to pharmacies to buy iodized potassium. Billions went into the pockets of Podolyak family[+]. Most likely a share went to conspirer Zelensky. More here[+].
➡9. Zelensky lied[+] about Kostiantynivka market missile strike[+] (a Ukrainian-controlled town in Donetsk region) on the 6 September 2023, blaming “evil Russian terrorists” for the attack, and many media outlets took his words as gospel and did the same without any fact-checking[+][+]. But investigative reporters of the New York Times4 run an investigation and article[+] about that strike that killed 16 civilians and injured 33 others. They collected and analyzed evidence, including missile fragments, satellite imagery, the direction from which the missile flew in, witness accounts, and social media posts, and attested that it was Ukrainians misfiring a 9M38 missile. Not expecting the allies to doubt him and investigate it, initially, Zelensky condemned the attack, describing[+] it as "The audacity of evil. The brazenness of wickedness. Utter inhumanity." Well, all these descriptions then apply to Ukraine now that we all know that Ukraine killed their own people again and then blamed it on Russia again! Those reporters also wrote about the coverup of Ukrainian authorities who tried to prevent journalists from accessing the missile debris and impact area in the strike’s immediate aftermath, which furthermore proves they knew it from the start who did it, so Zelensky was caught lying. It may be an accident but it may also be a false flag operation at the time US Secretary of State Blinken was visiting Kyiv to use it to outrage and so compel the US to provide more aid and stop pressuring Kyiv to freeze the conflict5.
The realpolitik geopolitical analysts from The Duran[»] suggest that this White House publication did it to force Zelensky to freeze the conflict, which in the White House's view would be the best for Ukraine given that the Ukrainian counteroffensive failed, and would be the best for the US, too, as it needs an exit strategy because it is unable to sponsor the war much longer due to negative ROI and it doesn't want to come across as abandoning Ukraine (as it did with Afghanistan and many others, which would alarm Taiwan), which is why it makes pressure on Zelensky to freeze the conflict. The US has a bigger fish to fry with its escalating conflict with China (using Taiwan as a proxy). The Duran and some other geopolitical analysts justify their claim with curious timings. The missile strike occurred on the day when Blinken visited Zelensky in Kyiv and the humiliating New York Times article came out on the day when Zelensky visited Blinken in New York. The White House wanted to humiliate Zelensky so that he would not dare to pester them about more aid during his visit and speech at the UN and the US Congress, and more so that he would accept freezing the conflict[+] (like in three other former Soviet states[+], or Cyprus, Israel, Kashmir, and Korea). In the prior weeks of September 2023, Blinken, Johnson, and Baerbock visited Kyiv to try to persuade Zelensky to a Korea-style freeze and armistice[+] but to no avail, so they started exposing Zelensky's lies to push him to a corner (if he doesn't play ball, we expect their next step would be to expose his corruption). Zelensky lied[+] that Russian “terrorists” attacked the civilians in Kostiantynivka although it was a Ukrainian missile. It turns out, it was not the Russian evil, as he put it, but Ukraine's.
➡10. Zelensky's lied[»] that “people cannot be taken from the street in the Armed Forces of Ukraine” but countless footages show a different reality of forced mobilization with guys being snatched from streets[ꚛ][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»] with Ukrainian recruitment officers roam the streets like a pack of hyenas beating up and kidnapping men[»]
➡11. Zelensky lied[+] that Russia had a plan to "destroy" Moldova, according to Ukrainian intelligence. He mentioned some mysterious documents that show who, when, and how Russia was going to break democracy of Moldova and establish control but neither did he ever show any evidence nor did alleged event happen. He is using every opportunity to trash his enemy and to interfere in the politics of his allies to serve him. Did Russia destroy Moldova or attempted to do it? No. So, he lied.
➡12. Zelensky lied[»] in November 2023 that Ukraine inflicts 5 times more casualties on Russia, which he didn't even bother to prove in any way because he expects us to take his word as a gospel. His claim can't be corroborated because he hides the facts regarding Ukrainian casualties numbers but it can be easily debunked by stating the obvious: if this is so, why then aren't Ukrainians defeating the Russians or pushing them away?? Why did then Ukrainian counteroffensive failed – why was then Ukraine defeated? Because if they inflict 500% more losses on them, this should be manifested by Ukraine taking back their land. Also, since Kyiv gives us alleged Russian losses, then according to his claim, Ukrainian losses can be then calculated by dividing the Russian losses’ figures by five. So, by that date, 8 November 2023, Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported[+] that they liquidated by then 307.640 Russians, which would mean that, according to Zelensky's 5:1 ratio, Ukraine suffered around 61.528 losses in persons by then. However, every other source puts that figure at much, much higher number, some claimed as many as almost half a million[+]. We provide evidence on casualties in a separate article[*], which further proves Zelensky's lie about that. Some evidence takes into account the number of new graves with flags, obituaries, and "dead" SIM cards, as well as claims from experts such as former US CIA analysts and high-ranked veterans who are no longer obliged to obey and fall in line with the official narrative. Russians also provide figures, which they claimed to get by intercepting Ukrainian commanders’ conversations with their seniors whom they give daily reports. In December 2023, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said that Ukraine lost over 383.000 men[+], which also matches other sources[+][+][+][+]. In early-January 2024, former Ukrainian Prosecutor General and ex-head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko estimated[+][»] on Ukrainian TV that Ukraine lost 500.000 soldiers, killed or seriously wounded, since the start of the Russian SMO.
➡13. Zelensky lied[+][»] in November 2023 that Russia was preparing to start a war in the Balkans to divert attention from the ongoing war in Ukraine. A few days later, NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg exposed[+] Zelensky's pathetic lie: “We do not see any imminent military threat from Russia against any NATO ally or region… We monitor closely what Russia is doing... We have a military presence in this region with KFOR, with a headquarters in Sarajevo and actually also an office in Belgrade.” So, who do you think knows better if Russia was preparing to start a war in the Balkans?
➡14. Zelensky lied[+][»][»] to Americans on Fox News in December 2023: "I think the most important thing to understand what's going on that Russia didn't occupied any village, any Ukrainian village during this year," when everyone knows that Russia did seize Soledar, Bakhmut/Artyomovsk, Khromove, Maryinka, and many villages surrounding them and Avdeevka. Also, he omits to mention that because of Ukrainian counteroffensive, Russia was on the defensive during most of 2023 as well as the humiliating failure of his army as well as colossal losses that Russia inflicted upon Ukrainian Armed Forces. But then again, he is actually telling the truth because Russia didn't occupy any Ukrainian village as it liberated them, as the locals phrased it.
➡15. Zelensky lied[+][»] in December 2023 during a joint press conference with Joe Biden while fundraising in the US: “We’ve gained victory on the sea. We’ve destroyed Russian ships. We drew the remnants of their fleets to Russian territorial waters.” Ukraine did attempt dozens of attacks on the facilities and vessels of the Russian Black Sea fleet in Crimea, with the use of naval and aerial drones as well as Western-supplied cruise missiles but most of these were successfully repelled. They damaged only a couple of docked ships that were never used during this war anyway. Moreover, why is grain export by sea stopped if Ukraine had a victory there??! This triumphalist propaganda is so pathetic and as false as if Russia would claim victory in Kyiv based on many Russian drones and missiles hitting Kyiv.
➡16. Zelensky lied[»] again during the same event in December 2023: “We have shown [that] no Russian missiles can outdo the powerful American Patriot system.” However, just days after first Patriot arrived to Kyiv, on 16 May 2023, Russians disabled its five launchers in a missile attack on Kyiv[+][+][+]which destroyed it as evidenced by the fact that the Patriot system was unable to defend against Russian air strike[+][+][ꚛ] on HUR6 HQ on 29 May, and many other targets[»][»][+]. Also, a couple days after Zelensky lied, the Patriot system that Germany delivered to Ukraine was also destroyed in Kherson region[+][»], which further proves that Patriot can't even defend itself let alone all other targets in its sphere. Zelensky was obviously there working as a salesman for Patriot manufacturer – the US defense contractor Raytheon, helping them to sell it to other countries after it got bad reputation of not defending Kyiv as it should have.
➡17. Zelensky lied[»][»] in December 2023 spoke to the Latin American journalists during his visit to Argentina: “Russia is always directly or indirectly involved in all conflicts in the world.” We are bored with this constant, relentless “Russia did it narrative.” Surely it was Russia that bombed Libya, invaded Iraq, Afghanistan, and all other places where Russia was evidently not involved unlike his allies. Did he perhaps meant to say the US?
➡18. Zelensky lied[+] in December 2023 that Kharkiv Oblast fortifications are the strongest, but when in early May 2024, Russians launched their offensive (to crate a buffer zone due to Ukrainians constantly shelling civilians across the border in Belgorod and Bryansk regions), they seized 11 villages in just 36 hours and Ukrainian troops in Kharkiv told BBC[+] that “There was no first line of defence... The Russians just walked in.” Here is just one video evidence[»] of Ukrainian drone operators observing how Russian units are just calmly walking in towards an Ukrainian position without being attacked. Obviously Zelensky lied, put on a show, as usual, and pocketed the money the West gave him to build fortifications. His gang member quasi-admitted it on Ukrainian TV[»] in a Freudian slip: “We stole $1 billion … ehhhm sorry, invested into fortification.” No one got fired over that. Zelensky knows.
➡19. Zelensky lied[+][+] twice in January 2024 that he didn't want to meet with the Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang at the WEF in Davos or in Bern because they are not on the same level and that he doesn't bother to speak to anyone who is not on his level (president).
He said that after he was offended when pro-Ukrainian Politico reported[+] that Chinese delegation refused to meet with him there (to waste time again about discussing his irrational “peace formula”), so he tried to convince us that it was the other way around[+], that he was the one who refused to meet the Chinese PM Qiang, which was very pathetic of him since Qiang or the Chinese never requested a meeting with him anyway (why would they want to meet a beggar who only meets people to beg for funds for his war). A Ukrainian official said there was no meeting with Chinese officials on their delegation’s schedule but omitted to mention that this was because the Chinese did not want to schedule a meeting. There was also no spontaneous meeting at the WEF and Chinese were not present at any Zelensky’s “peace formula” talks.
Apart from it being a very arrogant statement not worthy of a honorable statesman (but dishonorable one), this was a blatant double-lie as he did want to meet[+] the Chinese there and he indeed meets officials[+] of all "levels" – already there at Davos[+][+][+][+] as well as countless times before such as German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock[+][+], US Secretary of State Antony Blinken[+][+], National Security Advisor Sullivan[+], Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin[+], etc. The evidence that Zelensky indeed wanted to meet with the Chinese delegation was reported by Politico[+] and others such as CNBC[+] previously citing the intention stated by Ukraine’s presidential chief of staff Andriy Yermak7 who said “it was important that Russian ally China was at the table when Kyiv convenes further meetings on its peace formula in Davos”. Insulted Zelensky made a fool of himself and left Davos empty-handed and without anyone’s pledge of financial support, which may be result of his lying, which, one way or another, never pays off.
➡20. Zelensky lied[+][+] in February 2024 that only 31.000 Ukrainian troops had been killed in the two years of the war, but he did not bother to back his claim with any evidence because, as usual, he expects us to take his word as a gospel, which is exactly what all Western mainstream media did whereby not a single journalist questioned it. But many MSM mentioned[+][+][+] that US officials said half a year earlier the number was already then closer to 70.000, effectively saying that Zelensky lied and in April 2024, the Washington Post reported[+][+] that “A Ukrainian lawmaker… said they believed Zelensky… vastly downplayed the war’s true toll… presented as lower to avoid disrupting an already-struggling recruitment and mobilization drive.” “Downplayed” is a fancy way to say that he lied. We reckon he lied for another reason: to convince American lawmakers to approve a $61 billion aid package for Ukraine because they were concerned that Ukraine has manpower shortage and therefore additional weapons would not help if there are no enough soldiers to use them. A commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine compared Zelensky to Pinocchio to the New Yorker magazine[+]. To put it in context, in the same period, over 220.000[+] Americans died of drug-overdose; or in 2022 alone, 670.000[+] people younger than 75 died of cardiovascular disease in the US, and 39.000[+] in the UK, which would mean that Russians and war are not nearly as bad as drugs or heart disease. We reveal this war casualties in a separate article[*]. Zelensky’s claim can't be corroborated because he hides the evidence but it can be easily debunked by stating the obvious: if this is so, why then are Ukrainians lacking manpower to fight Russia as evidenced by the mass kidnapping men[»][ꚛ][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»] from the streets to force them to go to the war? Why did they send the high-school kids[»] to the frontlines to fight? Also, why did then just two days later Macron felt the need[+] to send French and other NATO troops into Ukraine?? If Ukraine, according to Zelensky in January 2024[+], had 880.000 fighters in the army and around 30 million (not counting refugees) people to draw from and lost no more than 31.000 men, then why would the French or anyone else need to send their troops?! Such discrepancies indicate lies. In July 2022, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Reznikov said[+] that more than a million Ukrainians provide the defense of the country and since then, they mobilized many more, so why are they urging[+] refugees to come back and fight if only 31.000 were lost? In March 2024, French publication Marianne reported[+][+] that the French Armed Forces estimated Ukraine needs 30.000 – 35.000 new conscripts or recruits every month to keep their force levels steady, which in other words means that, according to French intelligence, this is how many casualties they have every month. In early-January 2024, former Ukrainian Prosecutor General and ex-head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko estimated[+][»] on Ukrainian TV that Ukraine lost 500.000 soldiers, killed or seriously wounded. Some other Ukrainian sources suggest that there are over 20.000 irretrievable casualties every month. In November 2023, the Ukrainian military said to Defense Ministry personnel Mariana Bezuhla[+][+][+] that they needed to mobilize at least 20.000 citizens a month, which could mean to replace those who die every month. Also, former battalion commander, Yevhen Dykyi, has estimated[+] that Ukraine will need to enlist 20.000 soldiers a month through next year to sustain its army, both replacing the dead and wounded, and allowing rotations. The same was estimated by retired German Air Force Colonel and prominent military analyst Ralph D. Thiele who claimed[+] in December 2023 that more than 20.000 soldiers have to be recruited every month to replace the dead and wounded. This figure also matches the figures given by the Russians every month throughout most of 2023. For instance, in December 2023, according to the Russian Defense Ministry’s data and Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu[+], Ukraine had lost more than 125.000 troops over six months of the so-called counteroffensive, thus dividing that figure of 125.000 by 6, we get around 20.000 per month. This would mean that by the end of 2023, in 22 months of fighting, Ukraine lost around 440.000 soldiers. Russia’s Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu claimed[+][+] that Ukraine lost more than 215.000 soldiers alone in 2023; in December 2023, he said[+] that Ukraine lost over 383.000 men by then. On 27 May 2023, Wagner's leader Prigozhin said[ꚛ][+][ꚛ] that Wagner killed 72.095 UAF men from March 2022 till May 2023. The last time Ukraine publicly disclosed the number of troops lost was in December 2022, when an adviser to Zelensky, Mykhailo Podolyak, also lied[+] that less than 13.000 troops had been killed. All that said, it might be that Kyiv authorities distinguishes between KIA8 and MIA9, and officially recognizes only a small number of killed so that they do not have to pay compensation to their families, which is as evil as lying about the casualties.
➡21. Zelensky lied[+][+] in February 2024 that Russia had suffered 500.000 casualties, including 180.000 troops killed in action, which is six times more than what he claimed was 31.000 Ukrainian troops being killed by then. His claim can be easily debunked by stating the obvious: if this is so, why then are Ukrainians not defeating the Russians or pushing them away?? The same day, Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported[+] that by then 409.820 Russian military personnel had been eliminated, while US intelligence report declassified in mid-December 2023 estimated that 315.000 Russian troops had been killed or wounded in Ukraine, whereas BBC-funded Mediazona[+]10 tracked[+] 44.654 Russian casualties in Ukraine by then and estimated[+] or inflated them to be higher at 75.000 military deaths and 130.000 wounded – not 180.000 or 500.000 as Zelensky wanted us to believe, all of whom also exposed him as a liar.
➡22. Zelensky lied[»] in February 2024 when he said “We have freedom of speech, people can say what they want”. There is countless evidence to prove that to be a lie such as a Chilean-American blogger Gonzalo Lira living in Kharkiv was arrested and tortured to death for speaking the truth; Ukrainian journalist Kirill Vyshinsky[»] who was arrested and judged in Ukraine for fighting for freedom of speech, Anatoly Shariy[+][+][+][+] – one of the country’s most popular journalists, persecuted Ukrainian journalists Ruslan Kotsaba[+][+], 82-year-old man Yuri Chernishov[+] got a life-sentence (15 years) on charges of high treason and collaborating with Russia because he openly criticized the Kyiv regime in his literary and analytical publications (since Kyiv could not arrest him for free speech, they invented – without any evidence that he was collaborating with Russia against Ukraine); an elderly woman who replied to a reporter that “Ukraine started the war in 2014” was arrested[»] for saying that; political analyst Dmytro Korniychuk was arrested[+][+] and faces 5 to 8 years in prison for his tweets “spreading fakes about the war in Ukraine”; a blogger from Odessa Yevgeny Levchenko[+], a blogger-cosmetologist from Kyiv[+][+], and many more....
➡23. Zelensky lied[»][»] in April 2024 that Russian authorities were allegedly "preparing the mobilization of 300.000 additional military personnel" by June 1. There is enough evidence to prove that to be a lie such as the fact that no mobilization has been announced in Russia until that date, Kremlin spokesman dismissed[+][+] that lie, Russian President Putin and Defense Minister Shoigu have repeatedly said[+][+][+][+] that there is no need for a new wave of mobilization, and the Zelensky’s motive – at the same time, Zelensky was trying to mobilize 500.000, which is why he needed to fearmonger his people with alleged Russian mobilization. On top of that, ignorant people like Zelensky do not understand the difference between mobilization for the SMO and conscription for regular military service. Twice a year, every year, when the conscription for the mandatory military service in Russia begins, the pro-Ukrainian goons start a hysterical wave of imbecility that "evil" Putin is mobilizing an army to destroy Europe.
The same lie has been blurted by many other Ukrainian authorities such as Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk who lied[+] that after the elections in Russia, “dictator” Putin will initiate a new wave of mobilization. He lied that in connection with his justification that therefore their army also needs to mobilize more.
Here are also some of Zelensky's lies or twists that might have not been intended nevertheless, he did not keep his words, which also proves he can't be trusted:
In February 2023, Zelensky said[+] that to “drive someone to war with sticks” is contrary to European democratic values and Ukraine is not such a country. But what’s up with all the mass kidnapping men[»][ꚛ][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][»] from the streets to force them to go to the war and how democratic is that then?!
On 27 July 2023, Zelensky said[+]: “We can quite quickly reintegrate the peninsula into the state structure of Ukraine.” He meant Crimea, of course, but if it is true, then why didn’t they do it quickly or slowly during their 2023 counteroffensive?
Zelensky deceived about the state of economy on couple occasions in late November[+] and December[»] 2023 by saying that Ukrainian GDP grew by 5%. So did his nose, said[+] one commentator :). Who was he trying to fool there – retards? Not even the EU[+] and German[+] GDP grew but hey, Ukraine’s surely must have! Was he saying that the termination of the grain deal, Poland's blockade of Ukrainian exports, and a record high trade deficit[+] helped improve Ukrainian GDP? If this is true or worth bragging about, why did World Bank issued Ukraine bankruptcy warning[+] just couple months later and Ukraine's annual budget deficit was $35 billion[+] in 2023 and the Ukrainian government expects a record budget deficit of $43,9 billion[+] in 2024? Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Azarov said[+] that Ukraine is already bankrupt (completely insolvent) long ago. His propaganda is so outrageous that it makes us wonder of his mental health and is exposed as a lie by all Western statistics sources[+][+][+][+][+], as none of them confirmed it. Wikipedia claims[+] 2% and Trading Economics[+] 1,4% growth in 2023. Since the GDP dropped massively 29% in 2022, it could not sink anymore, so it is deceiving to spin it and make a proud claim outside a context. The undeniable fact is that Ukraine’s economy shrunk by some 20% as about 20% of the country is in Russian hands now. In 2021, Ukrainian GDP was $200B, in 2022 it sunk to $161B, and in 2023 it got to $163B[ND1] [+]. If Ukrainian economy is growing by 5% and so doing well, why was its credit rating lowered by S&P Global Ratings[+]? Nevertheless, most Western media published that trickery without any questions. That said, maybe he did not lie; maybe he is just real bad at math, like the guy on this photo :)
At the dawn of his presidency in 2019, Zelensky pledged[+] to “never, ever shut down any TV networks.” But in February 2022, Zelensky unplugged[+] three television networks (the 112, NewsOne and ZIK news) he accused of spreading Kremlin-funded ‘propaganda’, a development the EU has reprimanded.
Zelensky in 2019 (RUS)[»]: "Asking is definitely not about Ukraine. Ukraine is a new country, strong, does not ask anyone for anything, we can help someone ourselves." Hilarious.
In his old show[»], Zelensky joked that you need medication if you say Nazi Banderites slogan “Slava Ukraini” (“Glory to Ukraine”, a slogan that was used by Nazi Banderites11 in 1940s), which he now says all the time[»][ꚛ]
Zelensky said[+] in 2019 that a person can speak any language in Ukraine and saw no problem with special status of Russian language in Donbas. But Russian language is banned[+][+] in more than 30 spheres of public life, including public administration, electoral process, education, science, culture, media, economic and social life, health and care institutions, and activities of political parties.
In January 2023, Zelensky lied or claimed that Putin was dead and all the Western mainstream media unquestionably reported that[+] as if it was true, without verifying it.
Before he got elected, Zelensky said[»]: “Russia and Ukraine are brotherly people. I know many millions, thousands of people who live in Russia and who are wonderful. We are one color, one blood.” He did not lie there but he lied later when he denied Russian and Ukrainian brotherhood.
Zelensky lied[»] in April 2024 that “Putin is afraid of us” (right, so afraid that he is fighting and winning :) he “threatens the world … the civilization and the existence of Earth”. As usual, he provides no evidence to back up his claims expecting us to believe him as if he was Jesus and his word a gospel. To be fair, we are not sure if he lied or perhaps has a brain damage or is delusional due to drugs. Sometimes, we’re also not sure whether he is talking like a president or as a stand-up comedian that he is (in this case a sit-up comedian) because self-respecting presidents or diplomats should not speak like that. Or just projecting[+][+]?
Team Zelensky’s lies
There are many more instance with evidence of Zelensky's lies but we assume the ones given here suffice. Now that we proved that Zelensky can't be trusted, to boot it, we now prove that Team Zelensky (domestic and abroad) can't be trusted either. Here are just a few pieces of evidence of lies of his inner circle and allies, which he allows – meaning, Zelensky willingly surrounds himself with liars:
On 25 March 2024, Kyiv mayor Klitschko lied[»] that Russian rocket destroyed the educational institution in Kyiv but Ukrainian secret service SBU confirmed[+] that their office was the target of that attack, which also evidence[ꚛ][ꚛ] shows. Like Google maps showing[ꚛ] that the building was “civil defense headquarters” (Ukr. shtab tsyvilʹnoyi oborony). Obviously secret service agency does not reveal its premises on Google, thus it was not designated as such. The nearby academy was not hit but Klitschko wanted us all to believe how evil Russians are hitting educational institution and said nothing about civil defense headquarters, let alone about SBU HQ there being hit.
On 9 November 2023, both the Kyiv Independent12 and Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov lied: Ukraine making 'huge gains' in occupied Crimea[+]. They called a minor damage to a Russian vessel 'huge gains' to deceive the public. Pathetic.
Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak stated[+] that Kyiv had nothing to do with the attack on the Kremlin[+] because such actions achieved nothing for Kyiv on the battlefield. However, as we already wrote, some 20 days later, The New York Times[+] and CNN[+] as well as Ukraine’s military “intelligence” chief, Kyrylo Budanov[+] exposed this as a lie.
Ukraine’s military intelligence chief Budanov lied[»][+] in January 2023 that Putin is terminally ill with cancer, an assertion that US intelligence officials dismissed[+] as a lie or falsehood, but is also evident in reality as Putin is constantly in the news looking healthy and vibrant as well as running for a fourth term as president (know any cancer patient running for office?). As a head of an intelligence agency, he should know such things rather than just project wishful thinking. He also lied that Putin was dead[»]. If Ukrainian Head of Intelligence is so “intelligent”, then imagine how “intelligent” are others.
Ukrainian authorities keep lying about the number of casualties. Both, own and Russian. There is too many such instances to mention, so just randomly let's mention David Arakhamia, leader of the ruling Servant of the People party, who lied[+] on 26 January 2024 during a panel discussion, as reported by lb.ua[+] that Ukraine’s casualties are “much smaller” than the 100.000 mark many believed Ukraine to have surpassed. He said that in the context of many Ukrainians being skeptical of joining the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which reveals his motive for lying as they are desperate to recruit new conscripts. As for evidence of it being a lie and how deceitful the Ukrainian government is, there is plenty of it, including counting graves, obituaries, or "dead" SIM cards as well as reports from renowned Western, Turkish, and Israeli sources and investigators, which we list in the article on Casualties[*] of the Reality Checks series.
Ukrainian authorities keep lying about the number of Russian missiles they manage to shoot down (to deceive about their capabilities and perhaps to help their AD sponsor to sell more AD systems). There is too many such instances to mention, so just randomly let's mention 21 March 2024, Kyiv authorities claimed[+] that they intercepted all 31 missiles fired at Kyiv (many video evidence[»][»][»][»] prove otherwise but the explosions could have also been the misfiring of AFU air defence; Russian MoD claimed they hit all the targets[+]). The next night, Russian Armed Forces have launched a mass missile and drone attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure[+][»][»] (as retaliation[+][+] for Ukrainian terrorist attacks on oil refineries in Russia), which proves that Ukraine is incapable to defend its most valuable infrastructure and incapable to intercept Russian missiles.
And when it comes to US President Joe Biden's lies, there are so many that would take a whole book to list them all and since almost everyone is already aware of it, there is no point in wasting time on that here. Those oblivious to his lies may google it or simply check out these facts-checking sites[+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][»][»][»] and even CNN admitted[»] Biden is a liar showing evidence of his false claims about his handling of classified information. In April 2024, US President Biden casually admitted[»] that his administration 'can't be trusted'! The point is, Biden is not trustworthy for us to base our decisions and support on his false claims
President of the EU Ursula von der Leyen has a nickname von der Lying[+][+][+] precisely due to her many lies and other features of liars such as fraud or plagiarism[+] and corruption. Germans disapprove[+] of her and were against her becoming the President for many reasons[+][+]. She lied (or presented her wishful thinking as truths) that “the Russian economy, the industry is in tatters”[+][»] and that “Russian military is taking chips from dishwashers and refrigerators to fix their military hardware”[»]. As usual, she never substantiated her claims with any evidence but it's evidently[+[+]][+][+][+] not true, as Russians have vastly superior firepower and troops[+] than NATO-backed Ukraine. Both economically[ꚛ][+][ꚛ][+] and militarily, Russia does pretty well and growing while it is her EU that is, in fact, in tatters (in recession[+]) due to her terrible leadership, which she somehow omitted to mention.
EU foreign policy chief and EU Vice-President Josep Borrell13 has also been accused of lying on too many occasions[+][+][+][+][+][+] which makes him untrustworthy along with many of his false forecasts such as that Ukraine will win this war on the battlefield[+].
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz[+][+][+][+][+] and Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock[+][+][+][+][+][+][+] told too many lies and so can't be trusted
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg lies and lies[+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][ꚛ], so we don’t trust him
Untrustworthiness and Unreliability of Ukraine’s Intelligence Agencies
Zelensky likes to cite Ukrainian Intelligence as his source sometimes, so it might be that he is not lying at times but relying on wrong people. Either way, none of us should rely on their intel because too many times, they have proven to be lies or wrong.
Ukrainian Intelligence consists of SBU and HUR. The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, abbreviated as HUR (an agency of the Ministry of Defence, not the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine) is headed by Lieutenant general Kyrylo Budanov. HUR is a military counterpart of the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine), which is headed by Vasyl Maliuk. They overlap operationally, SBU tends to pursue complex missions with longer lead-times while HUR works at a faster tempo.
They are parading as military “intelligence” but in fact they are terrorists unlawfully eliminating civilians incl. journalists whom they deem as Russian collaborators, also in Russia. The word “intelligence” is derived from the Latin intellegere meaning ‘to understand or comprehend,’ but this is not what they are doing. They gather data by spying but not to understand the enemy but to find them and illegally kill them. As several Western MSM reported[+][+][+][+], they conduct assassinations and other lethal operations, including striking civilian targets in Russia with drones. In other words, Ukrainian Intelligence is a terrorist organization. In March 2024, SBU head Vasyl Maliuk bragged[+][+] that that the Ukrainian special service was involved in many assassinations of Russian civilians, in striking [+][»] Crimean Bridge and oil refineries[+]. In December 2023, Russian court ordered[+] arrest of Budanov for masterminding 104 terrorist attacks against the Russia by then and in March 2024, also SBU Head Vasyl Maliuk for planning terrorist attacks and for public calls for terrorism[+]. Since 2016, the symbol of the HUR has been the owl hovering over a map of the world and stabs a sword from the sky at a blackened Russia[ꚛ], which is all bright people need to know about the intentions and “decency” of this organization.
There are countless cases of their blatant lies and here is just one example: The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and Ukrainian military blatantly lied[+][+][+][+][+] to Western media that they destroyed and damaged dozens aircrafts in the Morozovsk air base in the Rostov region on 5 April 2024 but provided absolutely no evidence whatsoever and none of those Western media outlets asked their sources for any evidence nor did they do any fact-checking. This was then debunked[+][+] by satellite imagery that shows no damage, and by Institute for the Study of War (ISW) investigation[+], as reported by Kyiv Post[+] and Ukrainska Pravda[+]. Also, Russia is keen to condemn Ukraine for attacks on Russia's soil but the Defense Ministry and Governor Golubev reported[+] that Russian air defense units intercepted over 50 drones in the area. Nevertheless, the Kyiv and NATO media kept[+][+][+] telling lies about it. What they didn't tell us is that instead of hitting airbases, they hit civilian targets, injuring eight civilians[+]. Videos taken from the ground showed multiple explosions not at the air base, as they reported[+] but near the air base at residential area where some private household buildings were damaged.
Now, let's see how intelligent, reliable, and trustworthy source is Budanov as an “intelligence” chief:
We already mentioned how he either lied or was wrong about Putin being terminally ill with cancer[»][+], which was dismissed[+] as falsehood by US intelligence officials as well as with reality as Putin is constantly in the news looking healthy and vibrant, not to mention running for a fourth term as president. As a head of an intelligence agency, he should know such things rather than just project wishful thinking. Not to appear stupid after his claim turned out to be wrong, he tried to spread rumors[+] that Putin is indeed ill or even dead but his three body doubles took over. He makes himself a fool even more with such statements, as no body double could ever perform all presidential duties or run for president let alone make speeches.
in September 2023, Budanov also claimed that Putin was dead[»], which was obviously wrong, as Putin lives on. Budanov tried to counteract his obvious misinformation by saying that Putin had died more than a year ago, and the Kremlin has been sending doppelgangers in his place[+], which was debunked by Putin’s speeches and later by Tucker Carlson interview[»]. So, he was caught twice by either lying or being misinformed.
in April 2023, Budanov said[»] that Ukraine will return Crimea by the end of that spring. Oops, not even close! And people are still trusting his intelligence?
How intelligent is to conduct terrorist attacks in Russia[+] only to suffer from manifold retaliation from Russia every single time? When will he learn that it never pays off? On 25 December 2023, Russian court ordered his arrest[+] as he stands accused of masterminding 104 terrorist attacks against Russia by then. Whenever his forces conducted any sabotage or terrorist attack, they were not just defeated, most of them killed, but Ukraine suffered for it immensely with multiple times bigger losses. For instance, his terrorist attack on the Russian city of Belgorod[+] on 30 December 2023, killing 25 civilians and injuring 108 others resulted in a massive missile counterattack[+], which ended up costing Ukraine several hundreds of casualties among Ukrainian Intelligence Service and Security Service representatives, neo-Nazi Right Sector paramilitaries, Kraken unit militants, foreign mercenaries including up to 200 French mercenaries, units of Ukraine's 59th Motorized Infantry and 79th Airborne Assault Brigades, not to mention destroyed much of military equipment, artillery, and fuel depots. And, the cost of losing military lives is surely much higher than that of lost civilian lives. Plus such barbaric attacks on civilians reinforced Russians to fight even harder against “evil Ukrainian terrorists” including to seize the Eastern Ukraine to secure Belgorod and other border areas from such attacks in the future. One has to have a very low IQ to expect that such terrorist attacks would stir up discontent that would favor the terrorists. Not smart, Budanov.
In mid-September 2023, this chief of “Ukrainian intelligence”, “intelligently” claimed[+] that Russia is running out of reserve troops and weapons. When will Budanov learn that he is only making himself or Ukraine a fool. As evidence for his claim, he cited Russia's underperforming troops, its poor-quality equipment, and Putin's meeting with his North Korean counterpart, Kim Jong Un. Underperforming troops – really? Those “underperforming troops” defeated Ukrainians in their hyped 2023 counteroffensive and continued advancing and seizing countless villages, towns, and territories (Khromove, Timkovka, Maryinka, Vesele, Krohmalne, Tabaivka, Avdeevka) in the following 5 months[ND2] . Putin's meeting with Kim Jong Un is to him a sign of Russia is running out of weapons – really? Who knows what his IQ is but surely not adequate for that job. His intelligence data on Russian military capabilities relies on such speculations? How sad and disastrous!
In mid-September 2023, Budanov predicted[+] that Russia's economy will survive only until 2025. None of his predictions or wishful thinking ever came true so no one is taking them seriously but we mention it here to shed more light on his “intelligence”. With all his intelligence data, he comes up with such ridiculous predictions again and again, which only proves how unreliable he and his agency are. According to more reliable sources, such as IMF[+][+], Wikipedia[+], Statista[+], and Trading Economics[+], Russia's economy will not only survive but grow, nevertheless, for some strange reason, he has no access to all that reliable data. Russia's economy grew that year by 3.6%[+][+] – more than any economy in Europe and NATO, which he should have known if even journalists knew it, just as all experts know about positive forecasts about Russia's economy. In 2023, Russia grew faster than all the G7 economies and the IMF forecasts[+] it will again in 2024! Western sources[+], including the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), who do not even include the GDP of new Russian regions, reported that Russian economy became the greatest in Europe during the war (despite over 10 years of draconian sanctions), yet “intelligent” Budanov predicts its collapse.
How effective is his intelligence agency when they could not prevent his wife getting intentionally poisoned[+]??? As if this alleged attempt at killing Ms. Budanova on 28 Nov 2023 does not prove a serious lack of intelligence data, what tops is the fact that they never even found the perpetrator[+] – what does that say of his or their level of intelligence? Earlier Budanov stated that she moved into his office, and was working in mayor's office, so she must have been extremely protected and yet someone got to her. If the Chief of Intelligence can't protect his own family and find the culprit, then how reliable is he at all? This is so embarrassing and humiliating that they keep the whole incident under wraps. As usual, they blamed it immediately on the Russians but how embarrassing is that then? With all their intelligence, how could Russian agents infiltrate in the top intelligence circles and do it? This is certainly denigrating the reputation of Ukrainian intelligence agency and its chief Budanov, causing him to lose face.
Budanov in Feb 2024 : Russia does not use missiles because it produces very few of them. Budanov in March 2024: Russia has been firing missiles at Ukraine all this time and at the same time producing and stockpiling other missiles, and is now ready to fire them. [+]
Budanov and all his “intelligence” team, after 20 years, have not even found out who poisoned President Yushchenko[+] in early September 2004 (Orange Revolution)! First, they speculated and accused his rival presidential candidate Yanukovych but it turned out to be a slander only to discredit him and get more votes for Yushchenko. Yushchenko himself later implicated Davyd Zhvania, the godfather of one of his children, of involvement in his dioxin poisoning but so far no one has been found guilty for it. It may be that they indeed discovered the culprit but are at no liberty to make it public if the culprit is a CIA operative engaging in a false flag operation intended to blame and vilify Yanukovych so that US-puppet Yushchenko could win the election. Sticky situation.
On 24 January 2024, Ukrainians shot down a Russian Air Force Il-76 military transport plane[+] across the Ukrainian border in Russia's Belgorod region, killing everyone on board with the US Patriot missiles[+][+]. The most embarrassing thing about it was that the plane was actually carrying 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war (POWs) who were supposed to be brought to a prisoner exchange location, and Ukrainian intelligence didn't know it! So, “trustworthy” and “intelligent” Ukrainian intelligence agency had no idea that their POWs were aboard that plane when it ordered this special, rare type of shooting. Ukraine's military intelligence spokesperson said[+] that according to their sources, high-ranking Russian officials were supposed to be on board that aircraft – so much about “competent” and “trustworthy” Ukrainian intelligence! Let's add immoral to the list of their attributes because what they were then saying was: "we thought there were senior Russian officials onboard, so it was worth shooting it down even if that meant killing our own worthless POWs." They also misjudged[+] the plane was carrying S-300 anti-aircraft missiles.
And then there are all sorts of other embarrassing failures such as a failed assassinations such as that of a close ally of Putin, the Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin on 20 August 2022, whereby by mistake they killed his daughter, reporter Darya Dugina instead, with an explosive device planted under their car. Her father, who had been expected to travel with her but switched to another car at the last minute, was the intended target. Both of them were and he still is civilians – targeting civilians is shameful. Even those who see such lethal missions as defensible in wartime question the utility of decisions that led to the targeting of civilians. As reported by US and Kyiv MSM[+][+], the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB)[+][+] closed the investigation with the claim that Ukrainian special services (SBU, which works closely with its military counterpart, the HUR, and were trained and equipped in close partnership with the CIA) were behind the killing, alleging that the primary suspect was a middle-aged female Ukrainian national who escaped to Estonia after the explosion. This corresponds to another assassination case where SBU/HUR again used a woman to kill a war correspondent Tatarsky in a bomb blast at a St. Petersburg cafe (she was found and jailed[+]). In May 2023, the head of Ukraine military “intelligence” General Kyrylo Budanov admitted[+] that they had been behind the assassinations of prominent Russian pro-invasion figures: “We’ve already successfully targeted quite a few people.” But not all; they failed in quite a few, including Putin[+], a well-known novelist Zakhar Prilepin[+] in May 2023, editors-in-chief of the RT TV channel and the Rossiya International Media Group Margarita Simonya and Segodnya[+], and many others. Assassinations of opposition figures are very common[+] in Ukraine, revealing there is no rule of law there and that Budanov's HUR is a terrorist organization rather than trustworthy source of information.
Apart from Budanov, other Ukrainian intelligence officials keep on reporting false information, indicating their bad intelligence. For instance, just like claiming Putin was very ill, they claimed[+] also that Chechen leader Kadyrov was hospitalized in critical condition in Moscow, which NATO media and their sources such as Ukrainian interior ministry adviser blew out of proportion saying[+] he was in coma, or even dead. Kadyrov immediately debunked it with a video[»] of him taking a walk and talk in Grozny and writing "I strongly advise everyone who cannot distinguish truth from lies on the Internet to take a walk in the fresh air and organize their thoughts." Those who were humiliated for spreading false info or fake news tried to spin it saying Kadyrov's video was old, fake, or staged but couple days later he also posted another video[»] of him visiting his uncle. Soon afterwards there were many videos and reports of him on the frontlines, meeting Putin in Moscow[»], and elsewhere, all of which show the speculations to be false and discredited Ukrainian intelligence sources. Like Putin, Kadyrov has been declared ill or dead many times. So much about Ukrainian “trustworthy” intelligence! Don't they know they ruin their reputation with such constant unreliable disinformation?
How “intelligent” or better said “delusional” the head of the Ukrainian intelligence, Kirill Budanov is, it is evident from his statement[»] that he dreams of Ukraine that is a world leader, which he said was realistic! A country that was, even before the war, ranked by Western sources as the most corrupt and the poorest country in Europe is supposed to realistically be “a world leader”! Draw your own conclusions about his sanity and so the sanity of the Kyiv regime and folk who hold him as the head of the Ukrainian intelligence!
Watch it from 38:58 where Budanov expects Ukraine to be a world leader:
So, imagine how “intelligent” are other Ukrainians then, if their Head of Intelligence is so “intelligent”. If they have no one better for the job, no wonder they are doomed.

well, to be honest, our “impartial” research and fact-checking are maybe not 100% impartial as we come from NATO countries
Main Directorate of Intelligence[+] – we put intelligence in quotation marks because Budanov and this institution are parading as military intelligence when in fact they are terrorists unlawfully eliminating civilians incl. journalists whom they deem as Russian collaborators, also in Russia
we refer to Kyiv as a regime[+] due to its oppressive and repressive policies, corruption, and foul treatment of its ethnic minorities, such as the ethnic Russians, violating their human rights, tyrannizing, and killing them since 2014.
The New York Times is mouthpiece for the US Democratic Party, White House, globalists, and neocons. It is the flagship publication for liberal triumphalism; socially progressive. It used to endorse the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan
as usual, the US totally disregards what Russia wants as it suggests freezing the conflict without considering the option that Russia would not agree to that. To negotiate peace on the US terms is surely not in Russia's interests
HUR[+] a.k.a. GUR is the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine, which is military counterpart of the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine) - they overlap operationally, SBU tends to pursue complex missions with longer lead-times while HUR works at faster tempo
“There are ... exactly two people in Ukraine who make all the decisions,” said[+] Ukrainian MP from an opposition party, Oleksii Goncharenko referring to Zelensky and the head of his presidential office, Andriy Yermak
KIA = killed in action
MIA = missing in action
Mediazona is NATO-states-funded anti-Russian online news site founded in 2014 by former Pussy Riot members – Russian government blacklisted the outlet as a foreign agent. One of the founders joined the Ukrainian Army, proving to be a traitor killing Russian forces.
Banderites are Bandera followers or neo-Nazis – Ukrainian nationalist Stepan Bandera[+] was a convicted murderer, a war criminal, and an anti-Semite leader of the ultranationalist Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) and its paramilitary wing, Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA)[+][+][+] with Nazi ideology collaborating with Nazi Germany in executing ethnic cleansing & genocide of Jews and other perceived subhumans including Slavs, Gypsies, gays, etc. massacring around 100.000 civilians in World War 2. After the war, Bandera collaborated with CIA and MI6 against the Soviets until a KGB agent assassinated him in 1959.
Bandera has millions of followers (Banderites) in Ukraine today, especially in military and police forces, as well as former (2014-2019) President Poroshenko[+][+][+][+][+] and former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Zaluzhny[+][+][+][+]. Despite the world condemnation, millions of modern day Ukrainians glorify Bandera and his neo-Nazi followers as national heroes and since 2014 revolution, new Kyiv regime has installed hundreds[+] of monuments of WWII Nazi collaborators, including 40 monuments[+][+] just of Bandera and not one but 5 museums[+] dedicated to him, as many as 94 streets[+][+], 2 avenues[+], 5 lanes[+], and bridges were renamed after him, issuing postage stamps[ꚛ] with his portrait, and he was named an honorary citizen of many western Ukrainian cities.
