Not an Invasion

Welcome to the peace initiative for Ukraine in which you can contibute by raising your awareness as well as your consciousness[+] and spirit to the modes[+] of neutrality[*], decency, respectfulness, wisdom[*], objectivity, mastery of the intellect, surrender (ego and mind to God’s will), and finally peace (inner then outer). To properly grasp everything, we recommend reading the articles of this peace initiative in the order that we[*] designed it, which is listed in the Contents. So if you haven’t read the previous articles, we urge you to do it, please. Did you read the Intro to this “Beware of Propaganda” segment? Please, do so for a better grasp of the topic of this article.
Have you read our previous article debunking the “unprovoked” invasion narrative? Please do so here, as well as the following article debunking the “illegal” invasion narrative here.
From 2014-2022, the West (with Ukraine) had totally controlled the narrative about the armed conflict in Ukraine, it was winning the information war with its media victories, which is why most of us around the world, especially in the West, got fooled into standing up for Ukraine. As it turned out, we have been lied to about pretty much everything about Ukraine, Russia, and their conflict, including about alleged “Russian invasion” and it being “unprovoked” and “illegal”.
As we already documented[ꚛ][ꚛ][+], Western mainstream media is owned and run mostly by American and British Jews who have the power to manufacture the type of narrative that is beneficial to NATO (Israel’s backers) and harmful to Russia. However, when truth-seekers and free-thinkers started to get their news from social media platforms with no censorship such as Telegram[+], Substack[+], Twitter, TikTok, Rumble, BitChute, Odysee, and Discord, they came to realize that mainstream news are mostly fake news or disinformation broadcasters and then the tables turned. More and more public saw through the deception and switched sides or opted for neutrality.
We owe it to Elon Musk, the Durov brothers1, and other such conscientious big-tech guys who allowed free speech on their platforms rather than bend to the pressures of the bullies among Western ruling elites.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably noticed that these days the internet isn't what it used to be. Social media platforms that used to provide for the free exchange of information, have anointed themselves arbiters of truth, on a mission to protect our fragile minds from any ideas and opinions that they happen to disagree with. Controversial posts are now ‘fact checked’, restricted or flat-out removed. Those who dare speak outside the lines are subject to temporary or permanent banishment[+]. It is like Stalin's Great Purge now conducted by NATO’s puppet masters. In a campaign to solidify their power, all political opponents are being silenced and so countless content providers are forced to exile to other platforms. The worst are Facebook and YouTube, which many angered, truth-seeking people are boycotting as their favorite channels got cancelled. Anyone daring to contest the official narrative of the Western ruling elites are treated like heretics who should not be allowed any platform whatsoever to speak their minds. And the worst of all is that brigades of common people are doing the elites’ bidding, perpetrating this appalling cancel culture, and they are doing it for free! How brainwashed or manipulated one can be to spend hours every day working for free for the interests of elites and war-profiteers by posting hateful comments at all who oppose their narrative! One such narrative is that evil Russia invaded poor Ukraine.
Those who bought into the narrative of the NATO spin doctors that Russia invaded Ukraine are those who are oblivious to the fact that the war started in 2014 as the general public found out about it only in February 2022 (when Russia militarily intervened). This is like starting to read a novel from the middle and making a fatal (millions of Ukrainians got killed, wounded, or displaced because the Western public supports the war effort) decision to support Ukraine (by arming it) based on ignorance of the whole context.
Another most important fact is that the residents and natives of “invaded” territories are mostly ethnic Russians, Russophones, and Russophiles, who always voted for pro-Russian candidates and also overwhelmingly voted for Putin in the 2024 presidential elections (Putin received 95% votes in Donetsk, 94% in Luhansk, 93% in Zaporizhia, and 88% in Kherson region, 93% in Crimea and Sevastopol), which means they were not invaded but liberated! For millions of them, this was not an invasion but liberation. Putin liberated them from eight years living in horror as the Kyiv regime2 sent neo-Nazi battalions to kill and terrorize them since 2014. They begged Putin for years to protect them and save them and take them into Russia.
And from Russia's perspective, Russians took it upon themselves to save the whole of Ukraine from Western imperialists and their corrupt leaders with neo-Nazi ideology of supremacy and ethnic cleansing. Since 2014, Ukraine lost its sovereignty as it has been under total control of Western powers. Most of Ukrainian natural resources are in Western hands, as corrupt and incompetent Ukrainian leaders sold off Ukraine for personal gains.
To show how NATO propaganda works, here are a couple of samples[ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ] of how NATO outlets kept describing what Israel was doing to Lebanon in autumn 2024 – never using the word “invasion”.
If according to NATO, Israel did not invade Lebanon (and Palestine for that matter), then how is then Russian special military operation labeled as invasion where the locals begged Putin for years to rescue them?! Anyone using braincells can clearly see how they are being played and should refuse being taken for a fool to support the NATO war machine against Russia by using poor, dumb Ukrainian peasants and their corrupt politicians, the US puppets.
When Russia does it, it is "BRUTAL", "UNPROVOKED", "UNJUSTIFIED", "INVASION", "PUTIN INVADES". When Israel does it, it is "limited targeted operation", "incursion", "raids", "probing", "gathering intelligence"[+]. So, turn on your braincells to consider how your mainstream media is playing you and decide if you are dumb enough to keep on funding and trusting them.
The only reason the war in Ukraine has lasted longer than the war in Georgia (6 days in 2008) is because the Western public has been fooled into “standing by Ukraine” by supporting the funding the war machine instead of peace negotiations. It is time to wake up out of this psyop and stand by Ukrainian people rather than by corrupt Kyiv regime of US puppets — most of the Ukrainian people do not want to fight (as evidenced by millions of draft dodgers, deserters[»], and men fleeing the country) and prefer peace.
Western invasion of Ukraine
Before we delve into the topic of Russian alleged invasion, let's discuss first the Western invasion or occupation or neocolonization of Ukraine. This is something you will never hear being discussed in the Western mainstream media because they not only hide it but deny it with their “totally unbiased and honest” “fact-checkers” and blame-shifting by pointing fingers at Russian alleged invasion.
If in the West, they call it “invasion” of Crimea when without a single bullet being fired, Crimea became part of Russia again (after the natives democratically voted for it), then it is more of an “invasion” of Ukraine what the West did to poor Ukraine by totally controlling Ukraine, including grabbing most of the agricultural lands and other natural resources there that are controlled by the Westerners who profit the most from it. The profits from agriculture and natural resources that should stay or be reinvested in Ukraine are flowing to the West, making Ukraine poorer and West richer.
Did you know that the US controls or occupies more territories of Ukraine than Russia?! Before you roll your eyes and dismiss it as “Russian propaganda” or fall victim of Kyiv regime propaganda spinning this fact, hear it from:
➡ a Member of European Parliament, Irish MEP Mick Wallace[»], as well as from other Western sources mentioned below. He testified what many other studies show that Americans have seized more land in Ukraine than Russians have! And sinceUkraine won't be able to pay back its loans, the West would have the legal right to take even more land as compensation – they’ll practically own most of Ukraine, if Russia allows it.
➡ one of the most prominent Ukrainian opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko who in July 2021, condemned[»] the new Zelensky’s law that allows foreign individuals and legal entities to receive the right to buy agricultural land in Ukraine. Tymoshenko spoke about the fact that this decision actually deprives local residents of land rights. And since the war escalated in 2022, land began to be sold off even faster, and foreign companies began to buy not only agricultural land, fertile chernozems, forests, reservoirs but even natural and historical parks.
Before 2022, Russia occupied Crimea with 2,7 million hectares of land. According to Wikipedia[+], Russia occupied 4,2 million hectares (42.000 km2 or 16.000 sq mi) of Ukrainian territory (Crimea, and parts of Donetsk and Luhansk) but this is not true as Donbas3 was governed and controlled by the local residents who declared independence and Russia did not acknowledge it let alone appropriate it. And by the end of 2023, Russia occupied a total of 8,7 million hectares (87,000 km2 62,000 sq mi) or about 18% of Ukraine's territory, according to Wikipedia[+].
By July 2020, according to the Land Matrix and the Head of Department of Industry Greening of Ecoaction NGO in Ukraine[+], some 3,24 million hectares[+] of agricultural land (10% of all arable land in Ukraine) were controlled by endangering4 foreign companies, which was more than the size of Crimea that Russia controlled. Moreover, research[+] undertaken by the Eastern Europe Regional Focal Point (RFP) estimated 15% of agricultural land controlled by foreign investors. Not counting the tax havens countries (Cyprus and Luxembourg), the United States was the top investor country in Ukraine by July 2020.
And in 2023, according to the Oakland Institute[+], as reported by about 5 million hectares – the size of two Crimea – have been “stolen” by private interests from the state of Ukraine. The total amount of land controlled by corrupt Western-backed Ukrainian oligarchs (registered abroad) and large foreign agribusinesses was over 9 million hectares, exceeding 28 percent of the country’s arable land[+]. This was more than Russia occupied – a total of 8,7 million hectares in 2023. Other sources, like Radio Free Europe[+] and many other ones[+], reported about as many as 17 million hectares controlled by the West.
When in 2013, Ukraine needed a loan, there were two offers:
🔵 The World Bank (IMF) offered $15 billion with two conditions:
Lift the ban on private sector land ownership.
Cut pensions and fuel subsidies.
🔵 Russia also offered $15 billion, but WITHOUT the austerity and privatization requirement.
US-puppet IMF placed that requirement on behalf of the US interests. Ukrainian President Yanukovych decided to choose Russia's offer, so Washington instigated a coup, ousting Yanukovych, so that American companies may own Ukrainian land. The new US-puppet Kyiv regime (that came to power by force and foreign interference rather than by democratic means) accepted the IMF loan and their conditions of austerity and privatization of agricultural lands. Multinational consortia with US capital have bought 1/3 of Ukraine's land since then.
Since 2019, the Western-puppet Kyiv regime led by Zelensky has obeyed their Western masters and in March 2020 launched the highly controversial Land Reform[+], which allows foreigners to indirectly purchase land in Ukraine. Even before, by 2016, despite the moratorium on land sales to foreigners, ten multinational agricultural corporations had already come to control around 3 million hectares of land. American and European firms first controlled or leased the farmlands through their proxies – pro-West Ukrainian oligarchs but with that reform, rich American and other Western predators can use the legal loopholes to just grab it all, in addition to already owning seed plants.
How is it normal and possible that companies from the US control most of the agricultural land in the country known as the “breadbasket of Europe? One word: corruption. The US and some other NATO countries take advantage of corrupt leaders across the globe to exploit and plunder other countries. So, as a requirement to get $5,4 billion[+] loans from IMF and The World Bank during the pandemic, they convinced a corrupt US-puppet and dilettante (showbiz guy) President Zelensky to enforce the anti-Ukraine (because primary beneficiaries are foreign agribusinesses) agricultural Land Reform to lift the moratorium on land sales despite the public widespread opposition since October 2019, so in March 2020, Ukraine passed a law legalizing the sale of farmland, which foreign agroholdings and investors can take advantage of for their gain and Ukraine’s loss. The new law has legal loopholes, which allow foreigners to “own” Ukrainian farmland indirectly if not directly.
Under the new law, foreign entities are still prohibited from purchasing farmland but it becomes possible for Ukrainian individuals and companies to acquire much larger areas of farmland, up to 10.000 ha by 2024, making it easier for foreign financiers to extend their control over farmland through leases, joint venture operations and banking activities. See Oakland Institute May 2020 report[+], “IMF leverages COVID-19 economic fallout to create a land market in Ukraine despite widespread opposition.”
While reliable data on who is owning or leasing Ukrainian farmland is hard to find (many leases are not registered), which indicates a coverup scheme in a country well-known for its corruption, the Land Matrix database lists large-scale land deals and has recorded transactions of millions of hectares of arable land to foreign investors. Some of the largest land deals in Ukraine in recent years were carried out by foreign corporations that know how to circumvent the law and obtain title to the land[+]. The prohibition of foreigners owning land does not apply to creditors who acquire land through mortgage foreclosure – so a foreign bank can foreclose on a small farmer’s land and sell it at auction, where big businesses have an advantage. Foreigners may gain ownership of land through opaque ownership of a Ukrainian company, exploiting the country’s impotent judicial and regulatory systems.
So, the largest landholders in Ukraine are not Ukrainians at all but a variety of foreign businesses, investors, and creditors – mostly Americans and Europeans, including firms such as BlackRock, Vanguard, BNP, Goldman Sachs, Norway’s Norges Bank, and NCH Capital, as well as a Saudi Arabia fund and some more[+][+]. Ten private companies controls 71 percent of the Ukrainian agricultural market. All but the smallest one of the ten largest landholding firms are registered overseas. Even when a huge piece of land with natural resources is seemingly owned and run by an Ukrainian oligarch, Western banks and investment funds are controlling a majority of their shares.
American multinational corporations, which used to just lease and control land, now de facto own almost half of Ukraine's agricultural land – as of September 2023, they seized almost 17 million hectares[+] (6 hectares plus 11 hectares[+] via smaller sized subsidiaries due to certain restrictions and limitations, out of 32,7 million arable hectares, which is cultivated annually; altogether there is 42 million hectares of farmland[+]) of Ukrainian agricultural land.
For a comparison, the size of all Russian-controlled territories, including Crimea, by that time was 8,7 hectares, which means that the size of all Western-controlled territories is twice as much, not to even take into account that in fact the whole of the rest of Ukraine is under total control of the West. They profit from it by selling seeds, agrochemicals, and grain trading, and are the main beneficiaries of Ukrainian grain exports – so, not Ukraine but America and the EU lost when Russia ended the grain deal. The main shareholders of the US agricultural companies controlling or owning or profiting from Ukrainian farmlands are the world's largest financial holdings Vanguard, Blackstone, and Blackrock – all three American companies (Blackstone and Blackrock are founded and run by Jews).
Sneakily, Zelensky the Jew sold 28%[+] of the entire Ukrainian farmland to the foreign companies whose main shareholders are Jewish American financial institutions such as BlackRock, Blackstone, and NCH. As Australian National Review, Oakland Institute, and many others report[+][+][+][+] Zelensky sold 17 million hectares[?] of agricultural land to three major US cross-border consortiums, the companies notorious for using GMO and chemicals. This is very bad for the entire world since Ukraine is one of the largest exporter of wheat and other grains. For comparison, the whole of Italy has 16.7 million hectares of agricultural land. It turns out that three Jewish American companies in Ukraine bought more valuable agricultural land than in all of Italy.
If you wish, read[+] the “Barbarians at the barn: private equity sinks its teeth into agriculture” exposing the scheme of Jewish[+] American NCH Capital NCH that was able to skirt the restrictions on foreign farmland ownership and siphoned profits out of the Ukraine joint ventures to their offshore entity, depleting their share in the profits and enabling them to evade taxes.
The world's largest investment firm and asset management firm (with 5.282 holdings[+]) from the US, BlackRock, de facto owns[+][+][+][+] Ukraine as it with its holdings has grabbed much more Ukrainian land and natural resources than Russia has, thanks to Zelensky’s 2020 Land Reform. Officially, BlackRock does not own Ukraine, as many spin doctors are keen to point out to superficial and ignorant audiences, who are unaware that BlackRock is one of the top shareholders of Ukrainian landowners (agroconglomerates) and creditors, of all major US banks, including JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs, as well as other war profiteers such as Lockheed Martin (arms manufacturer of Javelins, HIMARS, ATACMS Missiles, F-16s, etc.[+]), ExxonMobil and Chevron (oil companies) but also Ukraine's propagandists such as AT&T (owner of CNN), etc.
For all those superficial people who try to spin this fact by making claims that foreigners are not allowed to own agricultural land and that certain Ukrainian owners are not foreign agents, we can spin it to, you know. We can say that all Ukrainian grain belongs to US companies, which no one can deny as it has been confirmed enough, such as by Alain Juillet[»], the former head of France's economic intelligence service. Ukrainian agricultural land is mostly used to produce grain, which is Ukrainian main export, so how come all Ukrainian grain belongs to US companies and not, say, Ukrainian agricultural neighboring Russian companies? Who is the predator here? What would be more normal — a fellow Slav neighbor or a faraway across the ocean capitalists? Did Ukrainians sell their soul to the devil?
Just as they are covering up or whitewashing the neo-Nazis control in Ukraine, they do the same for the neocolonization of Ukraine by American agriculture cartels. Jewish American BlackRock does not directly own agricultural land in the country but it does indirectly. The large amount of assets or holdings controlled by BlackRock makes it the main investor in many of the businesses owning Ukrainian lands. The Western invasion or neocolonization coverup is like claiming that the neo-Nazis do not rule the country directly, since they are not occupying the seats in the parliament, but they rule the country indirectly by controlling the lawmakers through law-enforcement (army, police, and governors) which is ruled by neo-Nazis as most of the top positions there are filled by Bandera fans5.
Alternatively, this denial of neocolonization of Ukraine could be also compared to NATO or the West keeps denying[»][+] they are party to the conflict in Ukraine yet they are funding, arming, and training Ukraine to kill the Russians, not just in Ukraine but also in Russia.
While spin-doctors eager to obscure the Western neocolonization of Ukraine and hide it behind the play of words and other petty semantics (like legalizing corruption by calling it lobbying, or disguising plutocracy as democracy, or censorship as pre-bunking[»]), which works on dummies, the reality of Ukraine being sold off to the Western predators is pretty obvious to all using brains and caring to look it up.
Whatever anyone’s definition of “owning” or “colonizing” or “occupying” or “invading” Ukraine is, it comes down to benefit or profit and there is no denying that BlackRock and other Western companies have been profiting from Ukraine much more than Russia and even more than Ukraine itself! While Ukraine is the poorest country in Europe, Western predators are making huge profits exploiting Ukrainians and even using them as cannon fodder to secure their investments and profits.
The American Jews (BlackRock, Blackstone, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs…) seized Ukraine by means of mass manipulation (mass media is run by Jews, including BlackRock, as explained in a previous article[*]) and exploiting Ukrainian corruption with bribing or blackmailing corrupt Ukrainian leaders or by installing their puppets into leadership positions – how else do you think that Jewish dilettante Zelensky came to power (with the help of Jewish Ukrainian oligarch living in the US, Kolomoisky)?! American Jews bought[+][+] Ukraine at a discount price and in a destroy-rebuild scheme[+] approved[+] by Zelensky in May 2023, will earn even more if Russia allows it.
Zelensky may be Ukrainian but his ethnicity is Jewish, thus he is not a Slav and therefore he is not too concerned about his fellow Slav Ukrainians massively dying for the benefit of the Jewish bankers and other Jewish[+] war profiteers like BlackRock (CEO Larry Fink, co-founder and president Robert S. Kapito), JPMorgan Chase (Chairman Jacob A. Frenkel, former Governor of the Bank of Israel and Chief Economist of the IMF), Goldman Sachs (CEO David M. Solomon, advisory director Abby Joseph Cohen), Rothschilds[+] – Zelensky handed the Jews from BlackRock and JPMorgan Chase a $400 billion contract[+] to rebuild Ukraine.
The financial markets, i.e., major investment funds and banks, including BlackRock and PIMCO, are holders of Ukrainian debt securities. Ukraine’s creditors include also multilateral organizations such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). As Ukraine will not be able to pay off its debt, the Western, mostly Jewish creditors will have the legal right to seize the rest of Ukrainian resources – not just the lands with natural resources but also all of the massive funds for rebuilding! In other words, those who provoked destruction and did everything in their power to escalate this war will be given hundreds of billions to rebuild everything – those who do not see through their destroy-rebuild scheme should better wake up and stop feeding to this insanity. The West is occupying Ukraine but blaming Russians for occupying it. Why are Ukrainians not fighting the Western Jewish occupiers? Because president is a Jew! Because Jews controll all the mainstream media in Ukraine and the West. There you have it!
Not all Jews are like that, of course, so it has nothing to do with Jews per se, as most of them are great or good people, but with those greedy, power-hungry schemers who would do anything to make a buck and rule the world. So, let's pray for their tormented souls so that with God's mercy, Holy Spirit shines a light over them to get them to recognize their sins, repent and make amends instead of shifting all blame on Russians in Ukraine.
In other words, Ukrainian farmers and miners work and die for Western capitalists who use those poor fools as cannon fodder to defend the lands that do not even belong to them but to the Western oligarchs and plutocrats.
So, while NATO leaders accuse Russia of land-grabbing, it is a clear case of projecting as it is Westerners who have grabbed most of Ukraine's land in what is known as neoimperialism or neocolonialism, exploitative capitalism, and globalization. Ukraine has been a victim of modern imperialistic practices of the West that is using power and influence to dominate smaller countries (politics) across the world. Now, you know why the West is so invested in this war in Ukraine: they are defending their own territories as much of Ukraine is owned or controlled by the West.
To borrow from Jimmy Dore's briefing at the UN Security Council[»], here’s a paraphrased crude analogy of the Western media’s coverage of the war in Ukraine:
Let’s say Putin was standing by a road and he saw a neighbor’s little kids crawling across that road to get a glitzy toy over there while some predator beast was heading straight for them. So, Putin calls and shouts at the unsuspicious kids to come back but they do not listen because they don’t understand the danger and that glitzy toy is more appealing to them. At some point, when the predator beast already got to the kids, Putin had no choice but to aggressively push them out of the grasp of the predator and down onto the concrete sidewalk while wrestling with the beast. The Western corporate media would start that story near the end saying “Russian president pushes poor innocent kids down onto the concrete.” And the traumatized kids, instead of being grateful to their savior, just remember being violently pushed out of their way and deprived of playing with that toy.
The same goes for the entirety of this war. A classic case of “arsonist blaming the firefighter”. Remember, compared to all the other states in the world, Ukraine is a “baby” because it is only around 32 years old (since 1991) as a state (officially governed by Ukrainians rather than Vikings, Mongols, Tatars, Poles, Germans, or Russians) while Russia as a self-governing state is 543 years old[+] (since 1480 after Grand Duchy of Moscow, a.k.a. Muscovy[+], under Grand Prince Ivan the Great, totally liberated their land from the Mongols and Tatars – Russians were not governed by others/foreigners ever since [Muscovy evolved into Tsardom of Russia since 1547, Russian Empire since 1721, and then the Russian-governed Soviet Union since 1922]). The Western media started the story of the war in Ukraine only in the middle or nearly at the end – at the events of 24 February 2022, which is definitely not when this armed conflict started. By then, already more than 14.000[+][+][+] people were killed, mostly ethnic Russian civilians living in what was Eastern Ukraine at the time (and now the native residents choose to call it Russia).
The “Invasion” Narrative
In another article[*], we will lay out all the evidence that the armed conflict or war started in April 2014[»] by Ukraine but in this context, we call attention to a statement of NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg in early May 2023[+][+][»]: “you have to remember the war didn’t start in 2022. The war started in 2014. And since then, NATO has implemented the biggest reinforcement of our collective defense since the end of the Cold War.”
Speaking on behalf of NATO, having stated that “the war started in 2014”, NATO can no longer claim that Russia’s Special Military Operation launched on 24 February 2022 constitutes, from a legal standpoint, “an invasion” or that is “unprovoked”.[+]
To say that Russian President Putin invaded Ukraine in February 2022 is like saying Croatian President Tuđman invaded Bosnia and Herzegovina when he sent his troops there in 1992[+][+]. Ethnic Croatians living in Bosnia and Herzegovina were also being killed, terrorized, and forced to flee by Serbs, so Croats stepped in to defend their folk. But did anyone in the West accuse Croatia invading Bosnia and Herzegovina?
The point is, we have to look at the broader context before accusing anyone of invasion.
To expose Western deceitful and hypocritical rhetoric, we point out that when Russia attacked Ukraine, the Western officials and media call it "invasion" or “attack” or “aggression” but whenever Ukraine attacked Russia on Russian soil, they call[+] it "raid"[+] or "incursion"[+][+][+] and cheer it – such double standards are unacceptable in a civilized world and under international law. This is NATO propaganda.
According to dictionaries, invasion is “the act of an army that invades for conquest or plunder.” This is not the case with Russian intervention in Ukraine and Crimea.
Justifiably, anyone who allegedly invades another country to plunder it, is deemed evil. Anyone except the US, UK, and other NATO states that have continuously been invading countries for centuries!!! Apart from that “little” fact being overlooked, there are many other facts that have been purposely distorted to deliberately mislead the public into supporting Ukraine and the war against Russia.
“Russian invasion of Crimea” in 2014
Before we move on, let us briefly touch on some other related false narratives:
· Russia invaded Crimea – Russia did not invade Crimea, which is evident by several facts: not a single shot was fired in Crimea, Crimeans invited Russians to protect them, a peaceful transition of power and regime change, Russian troops were stationed there legally as approved by Ukrainian government per a treaty[+]
· Russian-occupied Crimea – Russia did not occupy Crimea; it annexed Crimea – only because the Crimeans wanted it (voted for it in a referendum). Russians could not “occupy” Crimea because they were already living there for centuries. Since 1783 (many maps[ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ] and sources[+] show that Crimea was part of Russia also in 1640), Crimea’s majority population has been ethnic Russians, who did not occupy Crimea but are natives of Crimea.
Before we proceed with evidence proving that Russia did not “invade” Ukraine in 2022, let us first debunk the alleged Russian invasion of Crimea in 2014. We provide all the evidence for it in a separate upcoming article on Crimea[*], so make sure to read it, therefore, not to repeat ourselves, in this context we only point out the absurdity of calling something “an invasion” when not a single bullet was shot at the time, Russian military were stationed there legally since 1783 and as approved by Ukrainian government per a Treaty[+], and Crimeans are ethnic Russians whose authorities requested annexation after they declared independence and voted for it in a referendum as UN Charter and Kosovo independence precedent[+] gave them the legal right for self-determination.
The hypocrisy of Kyiv regime and Western officials on that issue is exposed by many statesmen, including Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov[»]: “When the US recognized the independence of Kosovo, they said it is self-determination. When Crimeans held a referendum, they said it violates territorial integrity. UN Charter is not a menu. You have to respect it in its entirety.”
The irony, which Kyiv regime and Western media deliberately omit to mention, is that Ukraine wants Crimea back but not the Crimeans, who for centuries have been mostly ethnic Russians. How is that supposed to work out? Ethnic cleansing or genocide? Consider the human rights of the natives.
“Russian invasion of Ukraine” in 2022
In 2022, Russia launched its SMO6 in response to the call of Ukrainian regional authorities (of DPR and LPR in Donbas in 2022, like Crimean in 2014) for help in defense against armed attacks on them as well as in response to Russia facing a permanent threat from heavily militarized Ukraine and its ally NATO.
Russian forces were invited by the Southern and Eastern Ukrainian folk (Russian ethnic minorities) to save them from the threat of state-sponsored terrorist attacks, which was then not a Russian invasion but salvation or liberation for them. Russian ethnic minorities in Crimea, Donbas, and other Ukrainian regions asked Russia for help in self-defense because terror and armed attacks have been occurring against them by the Ukrainian regime and its neo-Nazi Azov battalion and other fascist paramilitaries (Right Sector, etc.) that have been killing, terrorizing them, and violating their human rights for years (including banning them to use their native language) in Donbas.
If what Russia did in Crimea was an “invasion”, then Russia must be praised as the first and only nation in the world and in the history of humankind to have invaded and conquered another country without a single bullet being shot! How effective and impressive Russian military must be then to manage such a feat! And how cowardly was Ukrainian military then, when they didn't dare to defend Crimea! Think about that.
What Ukrainian & NATO authorities and their controlled media hide is that those famous “little green men” that allegedly invaded Crimea where not Russian citizens but Ukrainian! As explained[»][»] by Jacques Baud (Swiss Colonel Chief of Staff, former secret service agent and head of Doctrine for UN peacekeeping operations in New York) also in his fascinating book[+] “Russian Art of War”, they were in fact 20.000 Ukrainian Crimean soldiers who defected to Russian side (therefore they ripped off Ukrainian patches and so had no insignia) which was so humiliating for Ukraine that they made every effort to hide it from the international public. In the aftermath of Maidan revolution, the local authorities hired them to secure peace on the peninsula, including during referendum. So, all the “voting at gunpoint” narrative is just a pathetic attempt to deceive the public and distort the reality. If Russians would have force them to vote at gunpoint, then they would surely vote against such aggressors, but as international observers also confirmed, everything was regular and people overwhelmingly voted to secede from Ukraine and join Russia. Not a single bullet was fired at the time; no armed conflict.
Russia didn't strike first. Ukrainians did. In April 2014[*][»], when after a revolution, the new undemocratically-appointed anti-Russian pro-West Kyiv regime launched a so-called “anti-terrorism operation”[+] against the ethnic Russians, Russians (dual passport Ukrainians), Russophones, and Russophiles in Eastern Ukraine. Ukraine is therefore an aggressor and ethnic Russians were the victims who defended themselves from aggression mostly perpetrated by a neo-Nazi regiment of the Ukrainian National Guard who killed almost 14.000 civilians[+], terrorized many more, and forced millions to flee homes with the intent of ethnic cleansing.
When just a couple of months earlier people protested against the democratically-elected government, they called it a Revolution of Dignity, and protesters were hailed as heroes, but when later people protested against the new undemocratically-elected US-appointed[+][+][+][+] government that banned their native Russian language, the new authorities called the Russian-speaking protesters terrorists. Go figure! Imagine if the Yanukovych government had treated them the same way when they were anti-government protesters! Imagine if Yanukovych ordered the National Guard to go and kill thousands of protesters and force millions to flee the country! Where were the US senators and the EU leaders when the army and police brutality were directed against the anti-government protesters since April 2014? Shame on them! Luckily, Russian leaders and volunteers showed up for them.
Russians tried their best to solve the issue diplomatically allowing the Ukrainians 8 long years to tyrannize and slaughter millions of ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine (Donbas) until they finally said “enough is enough” and intervened militarily in 2022 (private military units such as PMC Wagner engaged from the start just as NATO mercenaries did too). Russians came in to liberate the terrorized Ukrainians, not to invade them. The local Ukrainian authorities invited them and border guards opened the gates[»], which is why they could seize control over 27% of Ukrainian territories in a matter of days. There was virtually no resistance, except from a small number of pro-Western forces. If you cross a border facing no resistance, is this invasion?
Russians took action to force Ukrainians to a negotiation table after it was clear that Kyiv had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements but as it turned out, Putin miscalculated Ukrainian astuteness, he overestimated their intelligence and independence as it became clear that weak Zelensky could not make any decisions independently of his Western masters. Zelensky already agreed to a peace deal but then the US and the UK leaders pressured him to back off. This is when the Russian special military operation turned into a NATO proxy war[*][+] against Russia using Ukraine as a battlefield and Ukrainians as cannon fodder.
If Russia intended to invade Ukraine to occupy it, then, on 24 February 2022, they would not attack a country of 44 million people with less than 100.000 troops[+] (even though the West inflates the Russian numbers, they reported[+] that Russia had attacked with more than half of the 150.000-plus troops it had arrayed around Ukraine, which means more than 75.000 troops), plus 40.000 Donbas and 5.000 Wagner troops, especially when they were very well aware that NATO had been preparing and weaponizing Ukraine to fight Russia ever since 2014. To occupy the whole of Ukraine, Russia would have needed at least 3 million troops[»]! Even to this date, Russia has not increased its usual conscripts7 quantity[+] nor called for mass mobilization, which would be normal if the country is in a war. As said, Russia started not a war but an SMO only to force the Ukrainian regime to negotiate a settlement (because it could not be reached diplomatically after 8 years of talks but no action). After it was clear that Kyiv regime and its NATO masters do not want to negotiate peace, Russians allegedly mobilized 300.000[+] soldiers in 2022, plus 500.000[+] new recruits and around 45.000 Wagner troops in 2023.
According to the address[+] by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin[+] on the eve of SMO, to defend Russia and the Russian people, he decided to carry out a special military operation in accordance with Article 51 (Chapter VII)[+] of the UN Charter, with permission of Russia’s Federation Council, and in the execution of the treaties of friendship and mutual assistance with the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic, ratified by the Federal Assembly on February 22, 2022.
On 21 February 2022, three days before the beginning of the SMO[+] and eight years after Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic declared independence in May 2014, Russia finally recognized their independence, which means that, from a legal standpoint, Russia entered those independent Republics rather than Ukraine as well as some Ukrainian territories from which were conducted armed attacks on those Republics, which Russia intended to demilitarize and denazify.
The independence referendums were held in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics and later also in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions in full compliance with the UN Charter, the norms and principles of international law, and the 1970 Declaration on Principles of International Law, which only guarantees the territorial integrity of states “possessed of a government representing the whole people belonging to the territory without distinction as to race, creed or color.” The Kyiv regime obviously did not and does not satisfy this criterion, considering its use of terrorist methods against ethnic minorities, civilians, and infrastructure.[+]
Since the Donbas republics declared independence in May 2014 (and by way of a referendum in September 2023 chose to join Russia, followed by Russian annexation), all military operation in those provinces that were previously seized by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is liberation, not invasion, as seen by the natives of the region.
The mere fact that Russia managed to seize the most of southeastern part of Ukraine in a matter of days proves that the local residents welcomed them rather than resist them. Russians did also seize some northern territories on the way to the capital Kyiv but they showed no intention of occupying these places and were providing humanitarian aid, as they were there only as long as negotiations were taking place between Zelensky and Putin. If you are providing humanitarian aid, is this invasion?
In just the first couple weeks, Russians delivered 2.994 tons of humanitarian cargo to Ukraine and 349 humanitarian actions have been carried out[+], including 452 tons of humanitarian aid[»][+][+][+][+][+] to civilians in the settlements of the Kyiv region and more than 70 tons of humanitarian aid to civilians in the Kharkiv region[»][+][+][+], 140 tons of humanitarian aid delivered to Kherson[+] – does that sound like anything invaders would do?
As one of the countless video testimonials, here[»][»] is an old sincere Ukrainian man from the Kherson area who was interviewed in June 2023 by a Ukrainian blogger asking about how was it during the Russian occupation and he said that it was all good and that Russians helped with money and food. When asked about what he thought about Russia attacking Ukraine, he was very resolute in saying “They did not attack! They helped people.” And when he was asked if he agreed that Russia was a terrorist country, he decisively said “no” explaining that “it happens that Ukraine shells and blames all on Russia.”

Kyiv regime[+] — we refer to Kyiv as a regime due to its oppressive and repressive policies, corruption, and foul treatment of its ethnic minorities, such as the ethnic Russians, violating their human rights, tyrannizing, and killing them since 2014.
Donbas[+] is a coal mining region that was part of eastern Ukraine from 1922-2022 (now part of Russia) consisting of two Republics - Donetsk and Luhansk - where most residents have been Russians for centuries. In 2022, after Bolsheviks defeated the Ukrainian nationalists, Lenin gave that part of former Russian Empire with mostly ethnic Russian residents to the Soviet Republic of Ukraine under condition that it remains part of the Soviet Union and under Moscow governance (Kyiv administration) but in 1991, Ukraine violated that agreement by breaking off from the Soviet Union and from Moscow, and since 2014, Ukrainians had been demolishing all Lenin's monuments, therefore they have no rights to claim the territories he conditionally granted them. Since Ukrainians hate Lenin and Stalin so much that they demonize them, then in the Russian view[+], it is only fair to give back all the land[ꚛ] that Lenin and Stalin allocated to Soviet Ukraine, without even asking the locals’ permission (the majority were Russians in Donbas).
As the Head of Department of Industry Greening of Ecoaction NGO in Ukraine pointed out, foreign firms carry out intensive agricultural activities that have negative consequences for the environment, including water and soil contamination and biodiversity loss that can lead to large-scale land degradation so over 40% of all agricultural land lands in Ukraine may lose fertility.
Bandera fans[+] or Bandera followers or Banderites or neo-Nazis are fans of Ukrainian nationalist Stepan Bandera who was an anti-Semite leader with Nazi ideology collaborating with Nazi Germany in executing ethnic cleansing and genocide of Jews and other perceived subhumans including Slavs, Gypsies, gays, etc. during WWII. Modern day Banderites have been doing the same since 2014 against the ethnic Russians living in south-eastern Ukrainian region called Donbas, which has been inhabited by Russians for centuries but given to Kyiv administration by Lenin in 1922, the very same Lenin whose statues Kyive regime has been demolishing since 2014. As he turns in his grave for giving these lands to ungrateful Ukrainians who demolish his statues, so turns the ownerhip of these lands back to Russia. This is the universal law of reciprocity.
