Why Should Ukraine Denazify?
Because millions of neo-Nazis seized power in Ukraine, which is a threat not just to Russia but the whole of Europe and beyond, just as Nazi Germans were

Welcome to the peace initiative for Ukraine in which you can contibute by raising your awareness as well as your consciousness[+] and spirit to the modes[+] of neutrality[*], decency, respectfulness, wisdom[*], objectivity, mastery of the intellect, surrender (ego and mind to God’s will), and finally peace (inner then outer). To properly grasp everything, we recommend reading the articles of this peace initiative in the order that we[*] designed it, which is listed in the CONTENTS. So if you haven’t read the previous articles, we urge you to do it, please. With this article we continue the “Meeting the Demands for Ending the War” segment.
Russians demand that Ukraine goes through a process of denazification, which would essentially constitute renaming all streets and bridges, among others that carry names of Nazi collaborators such as Stepan Bandera1[+], removal of all monuments[+] and museums glorifying them as well as removal of all Bandera followers from governmental, municipal, and law-enforcement positions.
As one of the justifications for the special military operation in Ukraine, Russian President Putin claimed that Ukraine is governed by neo-Nazis, naming the "denazification" of Ukraine as one of the goals of the military operation. He stated that "neo-Nazis seized power in Ukraine" and called the Ukrainian authorities "a gang of drug-addicts and neo-Nazis".
In his 2024 New Year address, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev announced[+] that the main goal that Russia will face in the upcoming year is to achieve the final defeat of neo-fascism.
Let's see if there is any truth in Russian allegations that "neo-Nazis seized power in Ukraine" and that the Ukrainian authorities "a gang of drug-addicts and neo-Nazis"
Kyiv regime – drug-addicts?
Before we delve into the topic of denazification, first, let’s briefly prove that there might be some truth in the less significant Putin's allegation of “a gang of drug-addicts” among the Ukrainian authorities – here is video evidence[»] of Sergei Babak, the chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Committee on Education, Science and Innovation, who was delivered to the hospital high on drugs.
President Zelensky is the most protected man in Ukraine, so clearly there can be no evidence of him being a drug-addict, which is why we do not allege it but, in the segment with the Crash Course in Reading Between the Li(n)es Of Propaganda, we already suggested to use abductive reasoning via the duck test – “If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck”. It implies that one can identify a person by observing his habitual characteristics. To a skilled eye, drug-addicts may be easy to spot by their mimicry and gestures.
Here are some possible signs of Zelensky having symptoms of cocaine users: delusions, voice hoarseness, chronic runny nose and rubbing his nose[»][»][»][»][»] all the time, dilated pupils, frantic behavior such as often shifting from foot to foot, up and down mood swings[+][+] (cheerful and angry), sloppy appearance (inappropriate for a head of state), swollen puffy face, feeling superior to other people (assuming moral superiority over Putin and all Russians)... Are these facial expressions[»] normal behavior for a head of a state who is responsible for millions of lives or is it more like someone with a substance abuse problem? Work it out for yourself whether he passes the duck test or not as he is “too busy” to do the drug test.
Further indication that Zelensky might be a drug-addict is the fact that he legalized some drugs[+] and deliriously plans to turn Crimea into a marijuana-growing region[+]. Perhaps from his experience with drugs, he believes that drugging his soldiers would help them cope – he believes he needs to drug them to help them[+]. Pushing narcotics as a means to deal with life problems is something only drug-addict would do.
Also, during the 2019 presidential campaign, Zelensky suggested that Poroshenko should take medical tests for drugs but he himself refused to take a drug test[+]. What does that tell you? More evidence:[+][+]
Kyiv regime – neo-Nazis?
Whether Kyiv regime2 consists of Neo-Nazis or not is not as relevant as whether Kyiv regime supports and even awards neo-Nazis, which they undoubtedly do and don’t even hide it as the highest authorities pass the laws and policies proposed by known Ukrainian neo-Nazis (Bandera followers) and award them with highest honors, as well as engage in Nazi-style hate speech directed against Russian ethnic minority.
Most of the Kyiv regime are not neo-Nazis but they use neo-Nazis to implement their anti-Russian fascist agenda ever since 2014, which is as bad as if they were neo-Nazis. All hate-driven regimes are fascist and have no place in civilized societies.
Masses of red and black flags raised all over Ukraine are one evidence of the masses of neo-Nazis in Ukraine, which Kyiv regime did not ban like other countries did.
By comparison, in Croatia and Austria, Ustasha flag is not permitted[+][+] to be displayed anywhere publicly and anyone who “publicly uses, displays, wears on clothes, or in any other way shows in public the symbols, slogans, flags, insignia, images, names, nicknames, titles, greetings, gestures, uniforms, or parts thereof, or any other markings of fascist, national-socialist, Ustasha, or Chetnik movements, or regimes, or their leaders, or units” may[+] get six months to three years in jail.
The largest bookstore chain in Ukraine, Knigarnya E, is officially selling[+][+] the biography of Croatian fascist Ustasha Ante Pavelić[+], an ally of Hitler who carried out genocide of Serbs and other people during World War II. Not even Croatian bookstores sell it[+][+][+] (some sell only books condemning him) but a neo-Nazi hub in Ukraine does! And the book is sold out[+]!
Whenever you see red and black flags in Ukraine, whether on cemeteries[»][ꚛ], marches[ꚛ][»][»][+], social media, with soldiers[ꚛ][ꚛ], or anywhere else, you are looking at neo-Nazi Bandera followers, as this is a ("Blood and Soil") Nazi collaborators, Ukrainian nationalists UPA flag[+] (the same colors as Nazi Germany Flag[+]). Have you ever wondered why many Ukrainians are weaving red-and-black flags instead of blue-and-yellow ones? Many Ukrainians discard the Ukrainian yellow and blue flag for a red and black one[ꚛ], which is very telling about them being neo-Nazis, as they stand with the Nazi collaborators’ ideology.
This is not just some fringe movement but at the highest levels of Ukrainian government ever since the US-orchestrated Maidan revolution in 2014, when US-puppets neo-Nazis (Bandera followers3) took power in Ukraine as some NATO countries empowered them with weapons, training, and funds because they were the only ones who could seriously confront the government that was insubordinate to the EU and US demands, and the only ones willing to use force to come to power by violently overthrowing the democratically-elected government.
This is a typical regime-change scheme that the US and its allies conduct all the time whenever a government refuses to comply to the US or Western hegemony – they simply bribe the compliant opposition, mostly the elements of the opposition that otherwise never stood chance to take power let alone to govern the country, into staging a coup or a revolution, giving full support in terms of logistics, funding, propaganda, weapons, training, etc.
Ukrainian Neo-Nazis took advantage of the Western support to push their own agenda, on top of which are glorification of ultra-nationalists such as Bandera with his followers then and now as well as Ukrainization of and discrimination against ethnic minorities of which the largest one was Russian one. Like the Nazis, the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) party (infamous for collaborating with Nazi Germany and conducting the ethnic cleansing of Jews, Russians, Roma, and Poles in the Nazi-occupied territories of Ukraine during WWII) congress in August 1939 called for an "ethnically uniform" state, which is what their descendants have been attempting to do since 2014m trying to Ukrainize everyone with education and language laws.
In May 2015, in favor of all things Bandera, President Petro Poroshenko (Bandera follower) signed a law[+][+] that gave the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists - Ukrainian Insurgent Army (OUN-UPA, who collaborated with the Nazis in 1940s executing ethnic cleansing and massacres of perceived subhumans such as Jews, Slavs, Gypsies, gays, etc.) the honorary status of "fighters for independence" of Ukraine, making it also a crime to “publicly exhibit a disrespectful attitude” toward the OUN or UPA, and in December 2018, he gave those original Banderites (1.201 people) a full recognition and the status of veterans[+][+] with all the benefits, such as the right to social security, and accolades. The OUN members or UPA militants are glorified in modern Ukraine as national heroes, 94 streets[+][+], 2 avenues[+], 5 lanes[+], and bridges were renamed after Bandera, 5 museums[+] and 40 monuments[+][+] were built in his honor, plus countless[+] more monuments were erected to commemorate other Ukrainian WWII Nazi collaborators UPA soldiers; living ones were awarded veteran status[+][+] with all the benefits and accolades. Since 2014, more than a thousand settlements and more than 50.000 streets have been renamed after those Nazi collaborators in Ukraine[+] – in 2022 alone, 237 streets, squares, avenues and boulevards were renamed just in Kyiv.
Ukrainian schoolbooks[»][»][+][+][+] glorify them, despite all other countries in the world consider them war criminals. And they teach[»][»] kids to be and salute like neo-Nazis and to hate and kill[»][»] Russians.
Just recently, in July 2024, Kharkiv renamed[»] the Academician Pavlov Street into Bandera Street. Any street that carries a name of a Nazi is doomed, so this was an omen for us that Kharkiv will fall into Russian hands or be destroyed, leveled.
In March 2024, the Nikopol City Council in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast renamed[+][+][+] Pavlograd Street in honor of the Nazi war criminal, accomplice in the Holocaust, commander of the 31st Schutzmannschaft battalion, head of collaborationist units within the Wehrmacht and the SS Galizien division, Pyotr Dyachenko.
In April 2023, it was reported[+] that Kyiv will name street for Ukrainian Nazi collaborator after public vote. A street in Kyiv will soon bear the name of Volodymyr Kubiyovych, one of the founders of the Waffen-SS Galizien, the Ukraine branch of the Nazi military force.
In November 2023, the Kyiv city council renamed[+][+][+] a street in the Holosiivskyi district in honor of Ulas Samchuk[+], an anti-Semite, Nazi collaborator, editor of the Nazi newspaper Volyn[ꚛ], author of articles justifying Holocaust and calling for the murder of Jews, accomplice in the extermination of 25.000 Jews in Rivne, including 6.000 children.
Also, in February 2024, in Kaniv City Council (Cherkasy region), a street was renamed[+][+] in honor of Ulas Samchuk[+], a.k.a. the “Volyn Goebbels”. There is also Samchuka street[+] in Lviv.
In June 2021, the state funeral[+][+] of former Nazi Waffen SS Galizia Division veteran Orest Vaskul took place at the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church in Kyiv. Not just any funeral but a state funeral with all the honors, exposing Zelensky regime honoring Nazis. Zelensky was represented by soldiers from his personal regiment, who paid the last respects to the one who served alongside Nazi Germany.
In March 2018, a bill was registered[+][+] in the Ukrainian parliament, proposing to officially hang out the red and black flag of the OUN-UPA on all the buildings of state authorities, including the highest legislative body of the state, the parliament. This had already been done by a number of regional councils throughout Ukraine.
The flag of the Ivano-Frankivsk Region[ꚛ] in western Ukraine include the UPA red and black flag, which is a clear indication that the neo-Nazis rule that region.
In May 2020, the KP "City Improvement Control Department" of the Dnipro City Council issued[+] an Agreement No. 116/20М installed the flagpole with the UPA red and black flag in the Dnipro city[+ꚛ].
Many Westerners and Ukrainians rebuff Russian denazification agenda as a false pretense to occupy or destroy Ukraine because they have very narrow-minded view or understanding of what is meant under “neo-Nazis”. Narrow-minded people view Nazis and neo-Nazis as anti-Semitists who are only against Jews, which is false as their racist ideology[+] has been to eradicate all perceived inferior races termed as “subhumans” including Jews, Roma (Gypsies), Slavs and the rest of Soviets, Afro-Germans, as well as people with disabilities, political dissidents, Jehovah’s Witnesses, homosexuals, and non-conformists whom they targeted for persecution, imprisonment, and annihilation, which led to mass murder of millions of innocent civilians. Because Slavs are not as vocal as Jews about the Holocaust and do not own the mass media like Jews do, many people do not know that Hitler's Nazis killed much more Slavs than Jews. For Nazi Germany, this was a racial war[+] between German "Aryans" and subhuman Slavs and Jews. Nazis conducted pogroms and massacres of Slavs[+] just as they did with Jews and Gypsies. The Nazis and their allies and collaborators killed 6 million[+] Jewish people, whereas they killed over 31 million Slavs (14 million Russians)!
Just in the Soviet Union, Nazis and their allies and collaborators killed over 26 million[+][+][+] Soviets (18+ million civilians; plus 22,6 million wounded soldiers) – 23 million Eastern Slavs (14 million[+] Russians, 2,3 million Byelorussians, 6,8 million Ukrainians), plus over 8 million other non-Soviet Slavs (Poles, Yugoslavs, Czechoslovaks, and Bulgarians)[+].
For Hitler and other leaders of the Nazi movement, the ultimate value of a human being lay not in his or her individuality but in his or her membership in a racially defined collective group, which is the exact attitude of Ukrainian ultranationalists, who identify themselves as belonging to the Westerners, whom they see as superior to Russians, and so, since 2014, they have tried to purge the country from ethnic Russians. Assuming superiority, Ukrainian neo-Nazis have been fixated on annihilating ethnic Russians as they were the most powerful ethnic minority in Ukraine who did not want to conform to new Ukranization policies, which violate human rights. Like the Nazis[+], Ukrainian nationalists have sought to safeguard the purity of their Ukrainian “race” by enacting new education and language laws that coerce ethnic minorities to use Ukrainian language rather than their own, as well as by other means.
Chief Rabbi Of Ukraine Moshe Azman said[+] that before the war, Ukraine had about 300.000 Jews and estimated that about half has fled abroad rather than defended Ukraine. It seems ethnic cleansing occurred without neo-Nazis having to do anything.
Just as anti-Semitism is a hate crime, so is anti-Russian sentiment – hostility to or prejudice against any people is racism and unacceptable in civilized societies. Neo-Nazis or any hate-driven groups have no place in civilized countries and anyone trying to restrain and punish them has right to do so under the international law.
By evoking Nazism and the horrors associated with World War II, the Kremlin probably expected to delegitimize and demonize Ukraine in the eyes of the Russian public and the world and this did work. It has rallied many Russians to approve of the war and fight to denazify Ukraine. Also, Russia rallied much of the world to condemn the neo-Nazis in Ukraine and side with Russia, or at least to stay neutral (not to impose sanctions and not provide military aid to Ukraine).
What Is Denazification
Here is the definition of denazification straight from Putin[»]: it’s a legal ban of propaganda of Nazism. The Ukrainian delegation in 2022 peace negotiations already agreed to that. But then, they backed off from signing the whole deal.
Many narrow-minded people in the West think that neo-Nazis are just those guys who have Hitler and swastika tattoos or the likes, which is why we need to explain that, too. Although there are plenty Ukrainians who wear Nazi swastika one way or another[ꚛ][»][ꚛ][»][»][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][»][»][»][»][»][»][»][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ], what Russians are referring to are not Hitler but Bandera followers.
By the term “neo-Nazis”, Russians mean Bandera followers (Banderites) – all those who glorify Nazi leader Bandera[+] (there are millions of Bandera followers in Ukraine as the Banderites – neo-Nazi Svoboda party won over 2 million voters[+] at its peak plus there are also many other neo-Nazi factions in Ukraine) and are not just anti-Semites but nowadays mostly anti-Russians (because through mind control psyop methods, Semites/Jews turned Banderites’ hatred from them to Russians by turning Banderites into extreme Russophobes and giving them money and weapons[+][+][+] to live out their hatred by killing Russians rather than Jews).
Stepan Bandera[+] was a Ukrainian nationalist leader who collaborated with Nazi Germany during World War II and ordered his military unit to kill more than 100.000 civilians (Jews, Poles, Russians, Roma), as stated in all encyclopedias of the world except in Ukraine (where they attempt to rewrite the history). His fascist ideology envisioned a totalitarian[+] Ukraine, like Zelensky's Ukraine is now (prohibits all opposition parties, outlaws all opposition to the state, and exercises an extremely high if not complete degree of control and regulation over public and private life, including massive censorship and control of all mass media). It is an undeniable fact that Bandera was a Nazi and a fascist, sharing the same ideology as Hitler and other Nazi Germans. What are then all those who admire such a person and call themselves Bandera followers? Neo-Nazis. Case closed.
It is an undeniable fact that the Kyiv regime is full of Bandera followers, as this video[»] shows members of Kyiv City Council and of parliament singing praises to Bandera in parliament. More evidence follows.
Note: Russians never claimed that the anti-Semites seized power in Ukraine but the neo-Nazis or Bandera followers. Nazism is a broader term that is not limited to discrimination of Jews but of any nation by hostile and aggressive ultranationalists. Nonetheless, there is a correlation appealing to the right of protection of the Russians the same as it applies to the Jews. If antisemitism (discriminating and terrorizing the Jews) is immoral and against the law, then the same should apply to all those who discriminate against and terrorize the Russians, which is exactly what Ukrainians have been doing since 2014 but the world did nothing to stop it, instead, the West supported and funded the Kyiv regime to do more of that[»][+].
Why antisemitism is illegal and immoral and anti-Russian agenda not? Jews have occupied and stole land from Palestine since 1947[+][+][+], violated UN charter and numerous UN resolutions, killed more than 5 million civilians[+] and made Gaza into a world's largest prison[+][+] with 2,3 million people in “an illegal blockade”[+]!!! How are Jews then any better than Russians? If antisemitism is rightfully prohibited, then anti-Russian agenda should be too, otherwise world would not stand for double standards.
We will explain what is meant by denazification but right at the start, we would like to emphasize two points to remove all misunderstandings regarding that matter: denazification is not the reason or excuse why Russians launched their SMO (it is just one of their many goals or demands, the main ones being to neutralize4 and demilitarize Ukraine to protect both ethnic Russians in Donbas from genocide and Russia from hostile threats) and it is not meant to protect Jews (but Russians)!
There is a distinction between reasons and goals or demands. Denazification was not the reason why Russia launched its SMO. In March 2022, Kremlin spokesman Peskov said[+] that Russia would halt military operations immediately if Ukraine met a list of conditions – denazification was not on the list, nor was the regime change. That denazification was not a top priority for Russia was evidenced in its willingness to abandon that goal or request, as reported by The Financial Times[+].
Let’s be clear about what is meant by denazification and what exactly should be done.
By denazification, Russia means the elimination of all influence of neo-Nazis on the Ukrainian government, as well as outlawing and prosecuting all the neo-Nazis who were (as part of the Ukrainian National Guard) killing and terrorizing millions of ethnic Russians ever since 2014 and banning all forms of glorification of fascists and Nazis, including removing all their monuments and museums as well as renaming all that carries their name (streets, bridges, etc.) because, as historical evidence shows, they did much evil and their (Bandera) current followers did much evil to ethnic Russians.
This also means invalidating all the current fascist laws and regulations against ethnic minorities, which violate the UN Charter on Human Rights and international law.
Russians didn't specifically demand a regime change but from subsequent claims, it becomes clear that this is implied although it has been denied[+][+]. They’ve never demanded it nor stated it as a goal, nor did they ever propose anyone else to take Zelensky's place (like the US always does when attempting to change regimes). Right from the beginning, on numerous occasions[+][+][+][+][+][»], many Kremlin high officials, including President Putin, stressed that Russia is not planning a change of government in Ukraine and that “The purpose of the special operation is not to change the Kiev regime”[+], nevertheless, both Ukraine (paranoid and self-important President Zelensky[+][+][»][»] and his aides[+][+][+][+][+] keep reporting on his assassination and kidnapping attempts[+] without even a single evidence56 – his home, office, and car were never attacked although Russia has all these coordinates for missile attacks, and they gave conflicting reports[+][+][+][+][+][»][+][+][+] about the number of alleged assassination attempts which turned out to be, anyway, just alleged plots, not attempts; unlike the US7, Russia has never assassinated any head of state nor attempted to do it as this is not their style) and the West kept claiming that this was Russia's main goal (and later spun[+] it that Putin changed his mind about that for no reason). Why would Russia kill or kidnap Zelensky when he would be replaced with someone like him or even worse as long as the US is in control in Ukraine? Zelensky's incompetence has been beneficial to Russia in many ways, as we already explained[*].
Paranoid Zelensky claimed many times that Putin tried to assassinate him but he holds live transmitted speeches like this one[»] that allow everybody in the world to know his live location! He also said at that time, on the 9 May 2024 Victory Day over Nazis, that a parade is being held by the Nazis in Moscow. Clown. Sometimes, we’re not sure whether he is talking like a president or as a stand-up comedian that he is professionally.
Kremlin never said it out loud but from our understanding, high on the agenda is indeed toppling the government of Ukraine's elected president but by his own people rather than by Russia, so that he doesn't turn into a celebrated martyr or hero, like Bandera, or be replaced by someone like him or worse.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in April 2022[+][+][»] that regime change in Ukraine was not the goal (“We are not up for regime change in Ukraine. We have said this repeatedly. We want the Ukrainians themselves to decide how they want to live further…”). In July 2022, he said at an Arab League summit in Cairo[»][+]: "We will definitely help the Ukrainian people to free themselves from the regime that is absolutely anti-people and anti-history," Lavrov was referring to Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky’s government. This was taken out of context to prove that Russia indeed aims at the regime change but he was talking about helping the Ukrainian people to free themselves rather than Russia’s intent to assassinate Zelensky or replace him with someone else of their choosing. Lavrov might have also meant the Ukrainian people living in the eastern part as he also said this in that speech: “We are determined to help the people of eastern Ukraine to liberate themselves from the burden of this absolutely unacceptable regime, to be able to freely use their language, to practice their religion, their culture, their tradition, their family values.” At that time Russia didn't annex eastern territories, so they referred to them as Ukrainians. In other words, regime change is or was not something Russia intended to do but to help Ukrainians get rid of it, if that is what Ukrainians want (the opposition wants it).
Let's not forget that Ukrainian nationalists were fighting on the side of Nazi Germany in WWII. Those who were fighting on the side of the Nazis then – the OUN members or UPA militants – are glorified in modern Ukraine as national heroes, streets and bridges are named after them, museums and hundreds of monuments[+] were built in their honor, UPA soldiers were awarded veteran status[+][+] with all the benefits and accolades. Also, Ukrainian schoolbooks glorify them[»][»][+][+][+], while all other countries in Europe and the world consider them war criminals. Many descendants of those Nazi collaborators are now neo-Nazis cherishing the far-right fascist ideology and are placed in power positions.
This video[»] tells how the Ukrainian school system is indoctrinating hatred into the children. In Aug 2022, US Marine Corps veteran and former police officer John Dougan reported from Mariupol showing Ukrainian library books with false history teachings.
This video[»] shows how Ukraine teaches its kids in school to shout Nazi slogan “Sieg Heil” and raise arm in a Nazi salute.
It would be false to judge Russians’ motives for their preemptive SMO8[+] (attacking to defend) without considering historical realities[»] that contributed to their customary proactive stance towards foreign and Nazi threats. Putin and Russians in general are very history-minded; even if they forgive, they do not forget but most of all, they take history lessons seriously. Not even taking Ukrainian aggression towards Russian ethnic minorities in Donbas[+] from 2014-2022 into account, the most recent devastating historic event, which serves as a key history lesson for all Russian patriots, absorbed with mother's milk, is the catastrophic Russian casualties by Nazi Germany and their fascist allies in WWII costing Russia 14 million of precious lives[+] (26,6 million Soviets died[+][+][+] – 18+ million civilians), not to mention even more millions of maimed or wounded Russians. In addition to horrific genocide, millions more were forced into slave labor to serve the German war economy. There is no nation on the planet that suffered so much under the Nazis as Russia did (although percentually[+], Singapore and Poland suffered even more losses). So, we forgive them for being more sensitive to the issue of neo-Nazis and fascists in Ukraine than others and wanting to eradicate them for good, before they spread like a malignant cancer.
In the Holocaust[+] (the genocide of European Jews during World War II, between 1941 and 1945), around 6 million Jews were killed but during that time much many more Russians were killed – 14 million ethnic Russians[+] (26,6 million Soviets[+][+][+]), which hardly ever anyone outside Russia is aware of and there is no name for it like there is the Holocaust. If anyone has the right to be paranoid about neo-Nazis, then it is Russians, so if they take their paranoia too far by taking to arms in an effort to denazify Ukraine (besides other security concerns from NATO), it is only because all political efforts failed to remove the threat from Ukrainian neo-Nazis and Russophobes who killed over 13.000[+] ethnic Russians between 2014-2022 and tyrannized and displaced millions more.
Apart from the Holocaust, there is another historical reality, which is about Ukrainians and needs to be considered as history repeats itself – The 1943 Massacres of Poles by Ukrainian Nazis in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia[+][+]. In WWII, Ukrainian nationalists (Bandera followers) fought on the side of Nazi Germany, whereby Ukrainians (UPA[+] with the support of parts of the local Ukrainian population) conducted exceptionally brutal atrocities massacring around 100.000 civilians primarily women and children from Poland but also Jews, Russians, Czechs, Georgians, and Ukrainians who were part of Polish families or opposed the UPA and sabotaged the massacres by hiding Polish escapees. Ukrainian Bandera followers of this day and age have conducted the very same massacres and atrocities between 2014-2022 killing almost 14.000[+][+][+] ethnic Russian civilians as well as terrorizing and forcing millions more to flee but no one other than Russians came to their rescue!!! Why?! Shame on all of us who are hiding behind ignorance and choosing to turn our heads but it’s time to repent and atone now that we know and can't unknow it.
Even Western encyclopedias[+][+] state that it was Ukrainians, not Russians, who started the massacres of civilians in April 2014[»]! Like Nazis they slaughtered people based on their ethnicity.
Russians never massacred any civilians (although there have been many unintentional civilian casualties of shelling and missile strikes, many of them actually caused by Ukrainian AD9 missiles). Ukrainians (Ukraine Special Forces SAFARI, SBU, and neo-Nazi Azov battalion[+]) even massacred their own people in Bucha[+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+] and many other towns[+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][»][»], including the Sniper Massacre on Maidan Square in Kyiv on 20 February 2014, the Odesa massacre on 2 May 2014, as well as almost 14.000[+][+][+] ethnic Russian civilians in Donbas, killing all Ukrainians whom they deem (without a court conviction) as Russian collaborators10 (e.g. because they accepted Russian humanitarian relief), either as revenge, or to blame Russians for cruelly murdering innocent civilians, or as a warning to others who might express pro-Russian attitude. So, they are killing their own Ukrainian civilians just because they are ethnic Russian or pro-Russian, as opposed to pro-West.
Although the denazification of Ukraine is not the reason why Russia launched its SMO, it is one of Russia’s key goals, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in June 2023[+]. Russia is the country that suffered the most fighting against Nazism in WWII, which is why Russians feel fully entitled to consider the denazification of Ukraine one of their key goals. He pointed out how Nazi Bandera and his accomplices are considered heroes of Ukraine today, whom today’s Ukrainian authorities defend, both personally and their ideology.
Unlike anywhere else in the world, including Russia, in Ukraine, neo-Nazis are proclaimed heroes, given awards, weapons, and funds! This is shocking and alarming.
In June 2023, state Duma deputy and director of the Institute of Russian Strategic Studies, Elena Panina, stated[+]:
Denazification of Ukraine means de-Americanization of Ukraine.
"Nazism in Ukraine is a product carefully cultivated by the United States and its entire state machine. Nazism is an American tool for turning apolitical and good-natured Ukrainians into brutal fanatical Russophobes. The tool is precisely American, because the special services of England, Germany, The Vatican and Austria played a supporting role in this matter, they were, as they say, ‘on the hook.’ Therefore, the denazification of Ukraine is, first of all, its de-Americanization. The denazification of Ukraine means the complete military defeat of all its institutions created by the United States for the war with Russia. There can be no denazification without the de-Americanization of Ukraine. No denazification is possible in that part of Ukraine that will remain under US rule... Russia is fighting in Ukraine primarily with the United States, which has turned Ukraine into a Nazi reserve... To solve the problem of Nazism in Ukraine, the United States must be expelled from there. If the de-Americanization of Ukraine is not brought to an end, Nazism in it will always seek to destroy Russia.”
– Elena Panina
If you need more convincing on the topic of the US supporting neo-Nazis, read this article[+] from LifeSiteNews (US & Canada): “How the US government used Ukrainian neo-Nazis to build up anti-Russian sentiment”.
The de-Americanization of Ukraine entails a regime change that is under American control. Ever since 2014 (also 2005-2010 under Yushchenko's presidency), Ukraine has had US puppets as heads of states, prime ministers, and other high officials as Americans could easily bribe them (Ukraine has been the most corrupt land in Europe). No one can deny that Zelensky is a US puppet as his ties with the US are too strong to overlook and the US (using his former boss the oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky who was in exile in the US at the time) got him elected as President. Zelensky and the whole Kyiv regime are under American rule, both politically and economically (Americans own or control most of the Ukrainian natural resources). Naturally, the US helped the most corrupt anti-Russian (there were not enough Russophobe politicians, so they recruited also an actor, a boxer, and other professionals) to gain the power to push for anti-Russian policies. If such haters of Russia remain in power, Russia will never feel safe (terrorist attacks, tyranny against ethnic Russians living in Ukraine, etc.), which is why Russia will take measures to replace them with Russia-friendly politicians so as to resume friendly relations with its neighbor and fellow Slavs Ukraine.
Presumably, it also means de-Americanization of Ukrainian schools[»]
While the Western neo-Nazi apologetics[+][+][+] shamefully downplay Ukraine's Nazi problem, whitewashing[»][»] the issue of masses with neo-Nazi insignia[ꚛ] and Swastika tattoos and flags among both Ukrainian fighters[ꚛ][»][ꚛ][»][»][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][»][»][»][»] and civilians[»][»][»][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ], it would be a dangerous oversight to deny Ukraine’s antisemitic history and collaboration with Hitler’s Nazis, as well as the latter-day embrace of neo-Nazi factions on all levels of government – from parliament and cabinet through councils and governors to police and army.
Here is one of many video evidence[»] showing crowds of neo-Nazis freely parading in a Ukrainian shopping mall performing Nazi salutes – where else on Earth is something like that allowed?! Here[»] is another in a discotheque for all who still believe there are no Nazis in Ukraine. And where else is it possible to have the Nazi flag waving from your house like here in Ukraine[»][»]? Hitler would be so proud.
Moreover, the Ukrainian Prime Minister and other Ministers attended[+] and promoted neo-Nazi concerts. Also, without any consequences, Ukrainians post pictures of a wedding in Nazi uniforms[+], and some politicians and many soldiers with their arms raised in a Nazi salute[ꚛ][+][»][»][»][»][»][ꚛ], holding Nazi flags[+][+][+] and wearing Nazi hats[»][»][»][ꚛ][»] influencing Ukrainian politics and taking justice in their own hands.
Countless videos pop up online from Ukrainians who dare to expose the current fascist regime – one is here calling it Gestapo[»]. This is a hilarious video[»] of a guy speaking on a Ukrainian TV News channel saying how there are no Swastikas there but there are Swastikas right on his collar. Another guy walks around Zaporizhzhia and is shocked to see WW2 style symbols in the center of the city[»].
Countless more videos and images regularly pop up online exposing the pervasiveness of the Nazi symbology throughout Ukraine such as Nazi coat of arms printed even on children’s playgrounds like this one[»] in Odesa. But the Western narrative continues to reaffirm “There are no Nazis in Ukraine”, which is alarming and indicative of the Western support for neo-Nazis. It's this kind of stuff that will force Russia to take Odesa and most of the neo-Nazis-infiltrated Ukraine.
There are numerous examples of the Ukrainian military units and individual soldiers using symbols with explicitly Nazi associations[»][»][ꚛ][»][ꚛ][»][»][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][ꚛ][»][»][»][»][»][ꚛ] (swastika, Wolfsangel, Totenkopf, the Black Sun, SS Galizien emblem), a practice that the Kyiv regime and the West frivolously ignore and perhaps even prop to bolster their fighting spirit. Ukraine’s ambivalence about these symbols, and even its acceptance of them, risks giving new, mainstream life to icons that the West has spent more than a half-century trying to eliminate. Apart from Western authorities, who with the eyes on the prize turn a blind eye to the menace of the imagery holders, these images erode international support for Ukraine by an ever-larger number of people.
A Ukrainian historian and religious scholar, Ihor Kozlovskyi, said that the symbols had meanings that were unique to Ukraine and should be interpreted by how Ukrainians viewed them, not by how they had been used elsewhere. It sounds like an excuse and disregard of historical facts behind those symbols as well as inconsiderateness towards the victims of those who used those symbols in the past. And the fact that those symbols mean to Ukrainians the opposite of what they mean to the rest of the world is telling how deformed Ukraine is. True to their role models, Ukrainian exceptionalism resembles American exceptionalism[+]. Ukrainians use all kinds of ridiculous justifications[+] for wearing Nazi insignia, such as that swastika is a Hindu symbol but why would Ukrainians use a Hindu symbol; or that they wear a Totenkopf because it is a logo of a music band; or that the Confederate flag symbolizes pride rather than racism; or that the Black Sun symbolizes Ukrainian sovereignty and pride, not Nazism. Oddly, all these correlations coincide with sinister Nazis rather than with a decent group of people. Even their coat of arms[+], the trident, comes from the ancient barbaric Vikings (Rurik dynasty that ruled over Ukrainians ages ago). And is it normal to wear a military uniform with alleged music band patches? Even so, those musical bands whose insignia they wear on their uniforms share neo-Nazi views that aren’t hard to decipher as songs include lyrics like “Immortal loyalty to the Swastika / Blood and Soil, Source of our Strength,” or songs include awkwardly titled Nazi paeans like “When Swastikas Light Up the Sky” and “Jews and Other Germs of Decay.” What these bands preach and practice is a truly virulent blend of anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, racist, and bigoted rhetoric steeped in hatred and underpinned in some cases by very real violence.
Also the names of Ukrainian military units, such as “Dnipro Devils” reveals their evil side, even if they are not neo-Nazis. Russian military units, on the other hand, have all decent names.
Some people play down the neo-Nazi issue in Ukraine by claiming it was not enough of a problem to justify the Russian invasion but Russians never justified or claimed that they started their SMO[+] only to denazify Ukraine or that it was its main goal – this was just one of many goals and certainly not the main goal, therefore, no one has the right to falsely condemn Russia for “using Ukraine's Nazi problem to invade.”
That is not to undermine the issue that it was precisely the neo-Nazi battalions that had been tyrannizing and killing Russian ethnic minorities for eight long years on the commission of the Kyiv regime led by then-President Poroshenko who filled his cabinet and many other governing positions with notorious neo-Nazis and was himself caught many times on camera[»] talking about Russian ethnic minorities like Hitler about Jews. Here[ꚛ] is he wearing a Nazi symbol – a military patch with the so-called Black Sun, or ‘Sonnenrad.’ The symbol originates from Nazi Germany and is extensively used by various neo-Nazi groups around the world.
And the NATO states were providing weapons[+][+][+] and training to that fascist regime and those neo-Nazi battalions. So, if neo-Nazis were killing Russians in Donbas, it is only natural that Russia wants to denazify Ukraine. Russia didn't attack because Ukrainians have Swastika tattoos or anything like that but because the US-puppet Kyiv regime has created such a system and culture in Ukraine in which neo-Nazis who were killing Russian ethnic minorities are rewarded instead of punished.
And the West11 was supporting that instead of condemning it, which is why Russia had no other choice but to intervene to save and protect its folk from the tyranny of the Kyiv regime that banned Russian language and used bloodthirsty neo-Nazi killers.
It needs to be noted that, as declassified CIA and MI6 files[+][+] disclosed, the US and UK already collaborated in the late 1940s with Banderites knowing they were Nazis and they are doing it again, which is something both Russia and the rest of the world rightfully condemn.
“Not a week goes by without one of Ukraine's neo-Nazis making yet another Goebbels-style statement about their plans to exterminate Russians.” – Maria Zakharova[+]
E.g., Podolyak, an adviser to Zelensky's head of office: "There is one plan: push forward as hard as possible with the maximum killing of Russians on this route."
Gen. Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukraine’s military “intelligence”12 agency[+]: “We’ve been killing Russians and we will keep killing Russians anywhere on the face of this world until the complete victory of Ukraine.”

During the night of 25–26 February 2022 Volodymyr Zelensky sent a ceasefire proposal to Russia via the Chinese embassy in Kyiv. The Kremlin immediately responded by setting out its conditions:[+]
➡ the arrest of all Nazis (Dmytro Yarosh[+] and the Azov Battalion[+], etc.)
➡ removal of all street names and destruction of monuments glorifying Nazi collaborators during the Second World War (Stepan Bandera[+], etc.),
➡ surrender all weapons
For this denazification demand to be taken seriously and acted upon, Russians supported their claims with evidence that we are going to present now for all those who still see it as defamation and ridiculous. As peacemakers, we take them seriously (rather than dismiss them without any investigation).

Stepan Bandera[+][+] was an Ukrainian nationalist, an anti-Semite, anti-Soviet Nazi collaborator, convicted murderer, responsible for the ethnic cleansing of minorities such as the genocide of more than 100.000 of Poles, Soviets, and Jews during World War II as he was a leader of OUN-B and UPA who massacred countless civilians while collaborating with Nazis
we refer to Kyiv as a regime[+] due to its oppressive and repressive policies, corruption, and foul treatment of its ethnic minorities, such as the ethnic Russians, violating their human rights, tyrannizing, and killing them since 2014.
neo-Nazi Banderites are Bandera followers or Bandera fans. Ukrainian nationalist Stepan Bandera[+] was an anti-Semite leader with Nazi ideology collaborating with Nazi Germany in executing ethnic cleansing and genocide of Jews and other perceived subhumans including Slavs, Gypsies, gays, etc. He founded and headed a political party OUN-B and its military wing UPA. In modern Ukraine, there are millions of fans or followers of Bandera, who is considered a national hero since 2014 when Ukrainian nationalists came to power backed by the West.
neutralize is here meant as to force Ukraine to remain neutral (not to join NATO military alliance)
they say Zelensky has been able to avoid these attacks thanks to the cooperation of anti-war intelligence officers in Russia's Federal Security Services (FSB) who tipped off the Ukrainian forces
[+] Ukraine's military told the President that Russian strike teams had parachuted into the city to kill or capture him and his family but no evidence of parachutes was shown and alleged Chechen and Wagner troops do not use parachutes!

A "collaborator" by definition is a Ukrainian, and not a Russian. So, they are killing their own citizens just because they are pro-Russian, as opposed to pro-West, which according to pre-war polls accounted for more than half of Ukraine
Main Directorate of Intelligence (Ukraine)[+] - we put intelligence in quotation marks because Budanov and this institution are parading as military intelligence when in fact they are terrorists unlawfully eliminating civilians incl. journalists whom they deem as Russian collaborators, also in Russia
Ukrainian government spends millions on monuments and roads honoring Nazi collaborators and neo-fascists
Excerpt from the article
Across Ukraine, the destruction of monuments to the Red Army soldiers who liberated Ukraine and Europe from fascism is in full swing. In some cities, such as Chernivtsi, Rivne and several others, they are being demolished, and in some places, such as Nikolayev, they are even being blown up.
In addition, many other monuments will be destroyed: monuments to the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, to the writers Nikolai Ostrovsky and Maxim Gorky, to the Soviet pilot Valery Chkalov and many others.
In no other country in Europe do neo-Nazis play such an important role as in Ukraine
In 2014 there were 5 ultranationalist ministers in the government

The Ukrainian involved in the SS crimes against the Jews Flag has been revered as a martyr and folk hero since his murder by the Russian secret service in 1954. In Ukraine, monuments are erected in his honor.
Neo-Nazi marches take place in Kyiv every year. They wave flags with the Wolfsangel emblem, which the members of the Waffen-SS wore on their uniforms.
Ultranationalists and neo-Nazis are integrated into state institutions and security apparatuses.
By integrating the notorious Azov Regiment into the National Guard, the Ukrainian government probably wanted to refute the historical accusation of the Azovists' Nazi orientation. However, it was and remains a gathering place for ultranationalists and neo-Nazis. That's why the organization continues to use this Wolsangel Emblem
Selenskyjfailed in his attempt to rein in the neo-Nazis and ended up collaborating with them.
Orest Vaskul, former member of the SS Galicia Division, will receive a state funeral in St. Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral in Kyiv in 2021. He is responsible for the murder of hundreds of thousands of Soviet citizens
Ukrainian government spends millions on monuments and roads honoring Nazi collaborators and neo-fascists. We also pay for this with our tax money when we pump billions into a corrupt Nazi state.
