Welcome to the peace initiative for Ukraine in which you can contibute by raising your awareness as well as your consciousness[+] and spirit to the modes[+] of neutrality[*], decency, respectfulness, wisdom[*], objectivity, mastery of the intellect, surrender (ego and mind to God’s will), and finally peace (inner then outer). To properly grasp everything, we recommend reading the articles of this peace initiative in the order that we[*] designed it, which is listed in the Contents. So if you haven’t read the previous articles, we urge you to do it, please. Did you read the Intro to this “Beware of Propaganda” segment? Please, do so for a better grasp of the topic of this article.
“I am not worried about the innocent dying in Ukraine because I believe God is in control and if they were innocent, they left the hell in Ukraine and either came to heaven or will be reincarnated in heaven-like environment. I am worried about the non-innocent dying before they get a chance to repent and atone.” – Nana
An example of Ukrainian, American, and other NATO states’ propaganda or distortion of data is war crimes accusations of Russia for targeting civilians. Another deceitful phrase or word, besides unprovoked[*], invasion[*], and illegal[*], which is pushed by the Ukrainian and the Western propaganda machine as part of almost every report on the war in Ukraine is, you guessed it, civilians. More precisely, there is constant talk about how evil Russians kill poor civilians all the time, mostly children and journalists.
Ukrainian and NATO press makes sure to squeeze the “civilian victims”, especially children, whenever and wherever they can, even when none were killed or injured and even when it is a consequence of Ukrainian air defense missiles, obviously counting on the ignorance of many people for whom it is enough to just mention innocent children often enough in any context related to this war to manufacture the hatred for Russians and military (rather than peacemaking) support for Ukraine.
For instance, when Russians launched a missile attack on Kyiv's Artyom military plant, Ukrainians fired many air defense missiles, one of which missed and hit a children's hospital[+] but all Ukrainian and NATO propagandists immediately, without any investigation whatsoever, blamed it on the evil Russians, who have nothing better to do than target innocent children while they are winning the war (making constant advance as by then – July 2024[+], in 2024 alone, they captured 70 towns and villages, which to pea-brained pro-Ukraine trolls totally made sense to target children then). Unlike them, after Russian authorities denied[+][+][+][+] responsibility for the tragedy, Russian, Serbian, and American[+] truth seekers investigated it and provided enough evidence[+][+][»] to prove that it was Ukrainian NASAMS anti-aircraft missile[+][+][+] rather than alleged Russian Kh-101 missile[+][+][+][+]. Also, no one from pro-Ukraine side questioned what did Ukrainians AD missiles hit if not the hospital after they missed all the Russian missiles that hit the plant, and what did all the debris from them hit then if AD missiles allegedly self-destruct in mid-air? If they missed hitting the Russians missiles, then where did those Ukrainian AD missiles land? Answer: one landed by accident in that hospital. But the most important question they omit to answer is, how is it possible that Russians attacked a children's hospital with a deadly missile with an alleged intent to kill children but not a single child died[+]?!
Or another similar accusation “Russian missile's debris falls on territory of children's hospital in Kyiv”[+][+][+][+] – if anyone bothers to read (most people don’t, they just read headlines) those whole articles (featuring hate speech), one could find out that no children were either killed or injured and there was no damage to the hospital itself, and it is obvious that it was not targeted by the Russians, as allegedly only debris fell on its ground as a consequence of Ukrainian AD1 missiles. So, why was that children’s hospital mentioned in all the headlines when nothing happened to it or the children, other than to push the agenda that Russians are attacking innocent children?! It is utter malicious propaganda designed to foster Russophobia[+] and probably for fundraising, as well as to conceal the fact that Russians managed to strike some important military targets with the other three missiles that got through, disguising the failures of Ukrainian AD.
You’ve heard it thousand times in all possible variations like “Putin’s sadistic willingness to kill civilians to advance his goals”[+], “Russian soldiers deliberately kill Ukrainian kids”[+], and the weird ones like “Putin targets Ukrainian civilians because he could in Syria”[+] (when did Putin ever target civilians in Syria where Russians were helping Syrian government fight off the US troops and their proxies) but have you ever tried to fact-check any of these claims?
Sure, it is easier to just trust the authorities but what is easier is not necessarily right. Sometimes you just need to dig dipper to find the truth or treasure. This is what we did at our institute and were shocked to discover how many lies we have been told by the mainstream media in the West. We will now proceed with laying out all these facts, which will change your mind on this issue if you were simply relying on Kyiv and Western mass media by now. Many people approach information sources by reading against the grain, trying to find what is wrong with it rather than be open minded and try to learn something, so if you do not want to waste your time, we recommend to put all prejudices aside and turn on your conscience.
The headline of this article already reveals our position and message on this topic, which is not our opinion but a surprising finding of our institute's year-long research. If we could summarize our whole point here, we would offer this piece of evidence[»], showing how Russians evacuated civilians in the town of Volchansk in May 2024, during their Kharkiv offensive. If you think about it, why are Russians evacuating Ukrainian civilians instead of just killing them, as we are told they normally do? This punches a hole in the whole “evil invaders, killers, and rapists targeting civilians” narrative, doesn't it? If not, keep on reading to find more holes.
To make a point how you are being point, we invite you to look at this video[»] title and the content below . The title of this CBS News video is “Putin says he doesn't regret attacking civilians in Ukraine” and now watch the content, it is just two minutes long, and see if you can find there evidence of Putin saying that.
The news anchor even says that sentence in the beginning but for some reason they do not show Putin saying that – wonder why! They keep on putting words into his mouth and never show any evidence to back up their claims – why? Because it is all lies. There is nothing in that video about Putin so why is the title of that video about Putin not just killing civilians but allegedly saying he doesn't regret killing them? It is all part of a propaganda machine, a psyop designed to deceive you and us. They have been feeding us with lies about Putin and Russia for too long; so long that you believe them to be true. If they keep repeating it, it will be ingrained in the psyche of people. Notice how only one civilian died in that attack – do you not wonder how is it possible that a missile hit a residential building but only one person dies? Think about it. This is simply not possible unless the building was actually not hit by a Russian missile but by debris of Ukrainian air-defense missile! Just saying. Anyway, there is no evidence there of Putin killing those civilians let alone saying he did not regret it. You should hold the media accountable for doing this to you by at least blocking them, not giving them any views.
Now watch this video[»][»] below showing the aftermath of Ukrainian striking a residential building that collapsed in Russian city Belgorod in May 2024, killing not one but 17 civilians[+].
Now wonder why the same media outlet did not report on that[+] and why no headlines like “Zelensky says he doesn't regret attacking civilians in Ukraine”? Think about it. Another American TV channel[»] could not even blame Ukraine for killing 17 civilians in that attack but framed it as “Russia blames Ukraine for deadly air strike on apartment block in Belgorod.” The comparison of media coverage of these two different missile strikes on residential buildings is just one example, surely not the best one but a clear proof how the media barons are playing you and using you as pawns in their sponsors’ war games. You are paying for Ukraine killing Russian civilians if you are a taxpayer from a NATO country, so you are responsible. So, how do you react to that? Need more convincing? Keep on reading.
Let's do one more example before we unpack it all here. Have a look at this BBC video[»] titled “Russian soldiers caught on camera killing Ukrainian civilians”. But why is there no Russian soldiers caught on camera killing Ukrainian civilians!!!
First, they claim how "Russian soldiers are on the way to loot and kill" but they only show us how they are searching the area with their guns, no looting and no killing whatsoever! Why not show us the actual looting and killing? Because it is all just a lie, a propaganda meant to deceive us. The narrator even said that "every their move is caught on camera", so why is looting and killing not caught on camera then? Notice how it is all like Hollywood scripted, the story telling and all. At one point, they show Russian soldiers pointing guns (as they also did while searching the area) and they want us to believe that them just pointing guns means shooting and killing two civilians in the back. How is that? If "every their move is caught on camera" where is the crucial footage of civilians being killed? What's more, the narrator says they were being friendly, smoking together and then they allegedly suddenly turned around at shot at two security guards in the back but one survived and was then caught on camera walking. Now, we are supposed to believe that the soldiers who were first friendly and smoked with the guards and then left as it is all visible on the camera, for some strange reason then killed them, which is for some strange reason, not visible on the camera although they say they caught their every move – how come not caught the crucial one of them killing the civilians? As if that narrative in itself was not dubious enough, it turns out that a guy first miraculously survived, which was caught on camera, and then miraculously died, which is again not caught on camera. For some strange reason, nothing bad that Russians allegedly did was caught on camera that filmed their every move. Assuming we are all just retards believing every word they say, BBC don’t bother to tell us how is it possible that he died when he was caught walking after being shot in a leg. Perhaps the neo-Nazis killed him so that he could not tell that it was them who shot them for collaborating with Russians. The narrator told us and showed us how Russian soldiers were being friendly to the guy and how they smoke together, which Ukrainian ultranationalists deem as collaborating with Russians, which they almost always punish by extrajudicial killings as evidenced by many videos featuring neo-Nazi Azov militants killing “Russian collaborators”. They want us to believe that those friendly Russian soldiers killed them after smoking together - sure, makes sense.
Furthermore, on 2:26 the BBC tells us how Ukrainian police claimed (sure they did but not on camera for some odd reason, all just storytelling) how they found bodies of 37 civilians on a highway road there, not saying but suggesting that Russians killed them but why there is not a single shred of evidence? No bodies, no car wreckages, and no sealed crime scene – all just a story with not a shred of evidence. And why would 37 civilians walk down a highway road anyway? It makes no sense. They present mere allegations as evidence, which is not just pathetic but evil because they are clearly targeting us, wanting to deceive us to support the war effort against Russia.
And while we are at UK media colluding in the propagandization of the British public to support war, let's debunk also their false allegations of Russians torturing Ukrainians in “a mini Auschwitz”[+]. The British Telegraph reported a bucket of pulled teeth as evidence of Russian torture but this was discredited[+] when German media found out that the teeth belonged to the village’s Ukrainian dentist, part of a collection saved by him for financial purposes from over thirty years of dentistry. Imagine the level of their stupidity in telling a story of Russians allegedly pulling out all these golden teeth but then for some unexplained reason just left them there! Why would they pull them and then leave them there? And the fact that no bodies or other body parts were found anywhere was somehow irrelevant to the Britons. Unlike their German counterparts, UK media did not correct their initial reports of a ‘Russian’ atrocity. What do you say, is Telegraph worthy of your trust?
Murdering civilians is bad and, unlike Ukrainian authorities who constantly praise and justify killing of ethnic Russian civilians, Russian authorities are totally against murdering innocent and never justify or give excuses for any civilian casualties. It is against Russian military doctrine, religion, and values to murder innocent civilians, so they do not target them. Nevertheless, many civilians do get killed in this war, like in all other ones, although the ratio of killed civilians in this war (on average 3-4 a day in 2023 in Kyiv-controlled areas with 30 million civilians; evidence is below) is very small in comparison to all the other recent wars of this magnitude. This in not to justify Russian killings of civilians but to set the condition for peace.
There is no way we can bring conditions for peace if we demonize Putin and Russia. This is just stupid. When has ever anyone succeeded in resolving a conflict or a war favorably by demonizing the other side? Never ever! So, to keep doing the same and expect different results is a definition of insanity. With this article we try to shine a light on NATO propaganda so that you can see through their lies and stop judging and condemning Russia based on false data. If you wish, you can continue to despise Russians but do it based on the real data. We wish to turn everyone from hatred and hate speech with this article. When you get your facts straight here, you will have no base for hatred. Less hatred in the world, less wars and more peace.
To make sure we do not judge someone “evil” based on false interpretation of events, we all need to make an important distinction between:
“targeting civilians” vs. “civilians getting killed” by accident
civilian objects used “by the military” vs. “just by civilians”
civilians getting killed “by Russian missiles” vs. “by the debris of Ukrainian air defense missiles”
civilians killed “by the Russians” vs. “by the Ukrainians because they deem them as Russian collaborators”.
Kyiv and NATO propagandists have counted on masses being superficial and ignorant of these big differences, which is why their narrative worked to a tipping point when critical mass of people saw through it. But that hasn’t stopped the propagandists to serve the same old narrative to the gullible dummies.
There is no denying that Russians have killed many civilians but they did mostly by accident and not because they intended to do so, like Ukrainians who intentionally target civilians in Donetsk, Belgorod and other cities as well as those whom they deem as Russian collaborators. Of course, there are some rogue, criminal Russian soldiers who did intentionally kill some civilians, which is wrong and Russia does prosecute such disobeying soldiers and commanders[+] but it must be clear that targeting or murdering innocent civilians is NOT part of Russian military doctrine and policy and Russian (unlike Ukrainian and Israeli) authorities are openly against it.
Since the start of their SMO, on countless occasions, many Russian high officials denied targeting civilians stressing their policy of not targeting civilians[+][+]. They claim they try to save as many civilians as possible, which is why their advance is not as rapid as many expected. For instance, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzya said[+] at a United Nations Security Council meeting in April 2022:
“Russia’s forces never target civilian facilities in the course of the special military operation in Ukraine, trying to save as many civilians as possible… We care because Ukrainians are our kin”
This claim goes against the grain in the West and is hard to believe for heavily propagandized people of NATO countries who have been brainwashed into hating and fearing Russians just as NAZI German public was brainwashed into hating and fearing the Jews and the Soviets in the 1930s and 1940s.
Moscow says[+] their assaults do not target civilians and are meant to reduce Ukraine's ability to fight and push it to negotiate. However, people are people and some rogue Russian soldiers may have acted against Russian military doctrine. Unlike in Ukraine where killing Russian civilians is praised (e.g., when they killed parents of a child during an attack on Crimean Kerch bridge[ꚛ][+][ꚛ][ꚛ]), Russia does not try to excuse any action that causes civilian casualties, as Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said[+]: "I wish to stress once more that I am not trying to excuse any actions that result in the death of civilians, but it was not us that coined the term ‘collateral damage’. It was used by our Western counterparts in Iraq, and before that in other countries in Latin America and Libya."
Do you know any war where civilians did not get killed? Of course you don’t but consider why are some called war heroes and others war criminals! And how come that war heroes come only from NATO countries while war criminals come from enemies of NATO?! Can it be NATO propaganda?
In WWII, Churchill and Roosevelt killed over a million of German, Japanese, and French civilians during their indiscriminate air strikes but they are hailed as heroes while Stalin and now Putin are condemned as evil and war criminals – how is that? Americans and their allies killed over 432.000[+] civilians in more than five countries[+] during GWOT2 (2001–2023) but no one condemns them – how come?
“The Russian military does not fight against civilians as long as they do not take up arms and do not aim at our soldiers… Russian soldiers do not target civilians, they help them,” Dmitri S. Peskov, the Kremlin’s spokesman said[+].
When talking about civilians, we need a clear definition before making condemnatory judgements. Are citizens to whom Ukraine government gave weapons[»][»][+] to kill the Russians still “civilians”? Are people in civilian clothes carrying guns[+][+] or throwing stones at their enemy[»] true “civilians”? Are old ladies who commit terrorist attacks true “civilians” like this one[»]? How about this neo-Nazi Ukrainian kids[ꚛ]:
According to the UN Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War[+], civilians are persons who take no part in hostilities, and who, while they reside in the zones, perform no work of a military character. However, most Ukrainian “civilians” do take part in hostilities and many of them perform some kind of work of a military character, which would mean that they are legitimate targets. Even if they are not direct members of the armed forces, they engage in all kinds of hostilities as part of information warfare, put up violent resistance on occasion, many also serve as informants for the military as well as receive training and weapons as evidenced by many videos such as this one:[»]. As frequently reported[+], “civilians received weapons and guidelines how to run urban combat, how to provide medical first aid, and how to destroy Russians and take their weapons.” As such, they are legitimate targets in wartime.
Before we provide evidence that Russians do not target or massacre civilians as Ukrainians and their allies want us to believe, let us first briefly expose the fallacy of that justification to begin with. To get the public and decision makers to approve colossal aid and sacrifices, using civilians as victims is a prime endorsement for mass manipulation. The reason why Ukrainians and NATO authorities fill their headlines almost daily about alleged Russian cruelty in killing civilians is because they know that this is the hot button issue for civilians of the world, whom they try to rally to support Ukraine and condemn Russia but this is all nothing but propaganda.
And here is a blow exposing their deceptiveness: Israelis killed more civilians in five days[+] than Russia did in a year and a half, nonetheless NATO states support Israel but condemn Russians as monsters and butchers[+]!
And that’s not all: Israelis are killing more civilians than soldiers!!! Clearly, NATO leaders do not care about civilian casualties but are only using them and inventing them to get sympathy needed for support and aid approval. Their crocodile tears for civilian casualties in Ukraine are lost on all those who saw them shed no tears for Gaza's civilians and even fueling the genocide, justifying it as “a price of war”. People around the world took note “ah, that's how it goes!” Well, then the world got on fire with “Free Palestine” protests that shook and changed the paradigm, including in Ukraine!
An example of how cruel they are in inventing such fake stories is a horrific claim[+] that Hamas beheaded babies so as to legitimize war crimes (justify Israeli strikes on civilians in Gaza) but this lie was then debunked[+]. But this fake news was hyped and went viral even though the reporters got no evidence whatsoever. Imagine how many other forged stories like that circulate in the media, which are debunked too late.
Like the alleged Bucha massacre that served as an excuse not to sign a peace deal with Russia and to escalate the conflict into a full-fledged war to liberate Crimea with countless casualties and millions of people losing homes, which was later debunked[*] as the war crime of Ukrainian neo-Nazi Azov battalion as the massacred victims were all ethnic Russians whom Ukrainians slaughtered for being Russian collaborators. Not the first time and not the last time they did such atrocities[+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][+][»][»].
Apart from that “evil Russians killing innocent Ukrainian civilians” narrative being a hot button issue that rallies public support for Ukraine, there are other motives for perpetuating that narrative. It is a very useful tool to ensure funding for Ukraine and to motivate Ukrainians to join the military, as well as a great excuse to keep extending martial law in Ukraine needed to keep Zelensky in power. As long as there is martial law in Ukraine, Zelensky is not obliged to hold election that everyone knows he would lose. But to justify the extension every three months (and so postpone the elections, both presidential and parliamentarian), he and NATO need to perpetuate some conducive narrative such as about civilians being killed.
For instance, how propaganda works, just look at this headline on 9 November 2023: Zelenskiy Signs Laws Extending Martial Law, General Mobilization As Russia Hits Civilian Targets[+] – why did they have to squeeze some issue with civilians in the topics of extending the Martial Law and General Mobilization? Because they use that over and over as an emotional trigger to avoid public criticism or protests against unpopular or hated laws. Focus is on Russia allegedly hitting civilian targets (used by military) rather than on the fact that Zelensky is enforcing his rule and will.
Ukraine was caught lying about Russia targeting civilians many times such as in this instance[+] when all the US officials blatantly lied along, even after their lie was exposed. With a precision strike, Russia hit two multiple rocket launch systems, which Ukraine placed into Kharkov’s residential area to shell Russian town Belgorod. All officials started saying that civilians were attacked. But Russians and a brave Ukrainian published videos[»][»][ꚛ][»] from the scene proving it was a military target cowardly hidden between civilians. While Ukraine shells Russian civilians in Belgorod from residential areas in Kharkov, US officials don't condemn it but cover it up with their lies.
Another severe case of NATO states’ propaganda is the reports on Russians allegedly killing journalists, probably to enrage the Americans into funding Ukraine to kill the Russians, such as this fake CNN tweet[ꚛ] about Russians supposedly killing an American journalist, the same guy they already reported as being killed by Taliban in Afghanistan in 2021. Consider why CNN reports fake news and how many other of their reporting is fake too. It seems Russians are not as guilty as the West makes them out to be.
A similar instance is BBC3 reporting[ꚛ] that Russians hit a civilian residence in Kharkiv when in fact that was in Donbas hit by the Ukrainian military.
To put things in the perspective, for instance, between June and November 2023, there were on average three civilians killed by Russian shelling and missile strikes every day, according to Wikipedia Timelines of the Russian invasion of Ukraine[+][+]4 reporting on people killed each day (we even included many disputed "Russian" killings although they might have been killed by Ukrainian air defense missiles debris or Ukrainian “Russian collaborators” killed by Ukrainian radicals; so the actual figure is less than 3 per day).
OHCHR reported[+][+][+][+] 481 (158+125+87+111) civilians killed in Kyiv-controlled territory between June and Sept. 2023, which makes it 3,9 civilians killed per day.
You have to admit that 3-4 civilians killed per day in a country with around 30 million5 civilians in 28.0956 towns and villages in Kyiv-controlled area, it is not much compared to all other wars and even less than the number of homicides in pre-war Ukraine – 6 per a day7!!!
We wrote this in October 2023, which is why we personally counted the reported casualties between June and September 2023, which period may not be representative of the whole war because in the first months upon Russia launching its SMO, civilian casualties were much higher in comparison to all other months (e.g. in March 2022[+], 4.168 civilian were killed on both sides while just 55 in September 2023).
So, if we take the whole of 2023, according to pro-NATO/Ukraine89 OHCHR[+], average of 163 civilians were killed per month in 2023, which makes it around five civilians killed per day in the whole of Ukraine, including ethnic Russian civilians being killed by Ukrainians.
As OHCHR reported, most of the civilian casualties are in the regions annexed by Russia, which makes it safe to conclude that most of the civilians were ethnic Russians killed by Ukrainians. OHCHR trusts Kyiv authorities but not Moscow or Donbas authorities and so they report Ukrainian civilian casualties while disregarding10 many Russian civilian casualties, which as reported by Russian authorities are higher than Ukrainian casualties and much higher than OHCHR reported (and admitted unreported casualties of ethnic Russian civilians and totally discounted Russian civilian casualties on Russian soil – across the borders, in Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk…).
In other words, around 2 civilians were killed per day in 2023 in the regions controlled by Kyiv (with 28.095 towns and villages and around 30 million civilians). Does killing couple civilians a day in the midst of a war make Russians and Putin evil? Let's be honest, it makes them saints in comparison to the casualties of all other major wars.
And if we consider the two-year period from 24 February 2022 to 15 February 2024 (730), according to pro-NATO/Ukraine OHCHR[+], total civilian casualties in Ukraine on both sides were 30.457 – 10.582 killed and 19.875 injured, which is 14 Ukrainian and ethnic Russian civilians killed per day by both armies.
And if we consider just Ukrainian civilian casualties caused by Russians, according to the last report of pro-NATO/Ukraine OHCHR[+], from 24 February 2022 to 24 September 2023 (578 days), in territory controlled by Kyiv, there were 22.188 casualties – 7.550 killed and 14.638 injured – so if we divide 7.550 killed civilians with 578 days, it is 13 Ukrainian civilians killed per day in a part of country with around 30 million civilians in 28.095 towns and villages – not much comparing to all other wars and comparing to the number of homicides before the war started in 2014, which was on average 6[+] per a day in Ukraine or 71[+] a day in the US (in 2022).
Besides, it must be noted that many of the killed Ukrainian civilians were not even killed by the Russians but by Ukrainians themselves, either as accidents due to Ukrainian air-defense missiles or debris, or as false flag operations, or to kill ethnic Russians or “Russian collaborators”11 [+] (e.g., in Bucha because they accepted Russian humanitarian relief) either as revenge, or to blame Russians for cruelly killing civilians, or as a warning to others who might express pro-Russian attitude. Also, they kill many Ukrainian civilians by accident[+] or by getting into fights. As The Daily Beast reported[+], Ukrainians admit that “some of their comrades have been so drunk or high that they have killed civilians, soldiers, and animals in a blind rage or while driving under the influence”. Also, even in peace time, without a war, there are homicides all the time, which was in Ukraine in the years before the war started in 2014, on average 2.200 or 6 per a day.
Therefore, those alleged maximum 13 Ukrainian civilians killed per day, according to OHCHR reports may be slashed in half or more.
Also, according to the pro-NATO/Ukrainian12 Wikipedia page[+] on “Attacks on civilians in the Russian invasion of Ukraine”, which only records attacks on the territories controlled by Kyiv and only one[+] on the territories controlled by the Russians, throughout the first 663 days13 of Russian SMO, there were only 39 missile attacks against civilian targets where on average 10 civilians died, which would mean that in a high-intensity war, civilian targets get hit only twice a month in all of Ukraine, which is not much comparing to Israeli, American, and NATO wars, who hit civilian targets much more frequently and deadly. This is, of course, not to justify any of Russian attacks but to put it in perspective for those who are eager to judge Russians but not the others, including Ukrainians, who have hit more civilian targets than Russians have, which biased pro-Ukrainian media almost never reports or it misreports them. Out of those 39 civilian targets reported on Wikipedia[+], more than half of them were confirmed either hit by Ukrainians in Russian controlled areas, or by Ukrainian air-defense missiles or debris, or were housing Ukrainian military – hence, they do not count as “civilian targets.”
In other words, as it turns out that Russia allegedly hit civilian targets only once a month, it proves this is not part of their war strategy and implies that the incidents that were not yet inspected and confirmed by independent investigators, might as well not be committed by Russians but by Ukrainians, either as accidents, or false flag operations, or to kill ethnic Russians or Russian collaborators[+] (more than half of the country were pro-Russian rather than pro-West, as reported by Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) polls[+][+][+], and as elections’ results prove[+][+] with majority of people voting for pro-Russian party and candidate; since 2014, they are all banned or prevented to campaign).
For instance, Wikipedia reported Kyiv propaganda that on 27 June 2023, Russian forces attacked a pizza restaurant[+] in Kramatorsk, which is not true, as Russians evidently[+] attacked a hotel hosting the commanders of Ukraine's 56th Motorized Infantry Brigade who were holding a military meeting there at that time and pizzeria was in that hotel.
On April 8, 2022, Ukrainian troops fired a Tochka-U missile at the railway station in Kramatorsk, killing 50 people and injuring 87 others, which was first blamed on Russians but then was all debunked[+][+][+][»]. Nevertheless, American Wikipedia assumes to be the judge and arbiter of truth by not acknowledging all the evidence and instead, as usual, rather than assuming neutrality as encyclopedias should, takes the NATO's version as a gospel and cites the allegations from the officials from Kyiv and NATO states, whom Wikipedia holds as arbiters of truth despite the fact that they lied countless time, such as about the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc.
Ukrainians indiscriminately shell the Russian-held Donetsk City almost every day killing thousands of civilians but Wikipedia reported on that page just one incident in which no civilians were killed, and probably only to brag about how Russian war blogger "War Gonzo" was injured then. The fact that Ukrainians used[+][+][+] the "butterfly mines" at that and many other attacks, which is a war crime, is not mentioned as such but only whitewashed as banned under the 1997 Ottawa Treaty (signed by Ukraine but not by Russia). At the same time, Wikipedia reported alleged Russian war crimes on that page but not a single one committed by Ukraine.
To put things in the perspective, counting homicides in the US, on average, 58 people were killed every day in 2022[+] and 71 people in 2021[+]! The US has 332 million people, which is around 11 times more than now in Ukraine, so if we divide those figures by 11, that would mean that, taken the size difference into account, still almost twice as many civilians are killed in the US every day in peace time than are killed by Russians in Ukraine in wartime nowadays!!! This proves that Russians are very, very cautious about harming civilians!
And if we compared it to the US-backed Israeli war against Palestinians, then especially, it is crystal clear that Russians are kind in comparison to the barbarism of Israelis who just in the first 31 days killed 10.022 civilians[+] in Gaza, which is 323 civilians killed per day in a territory with just 2 million people (15 times smaller population than Kyiv-controlled Ukraine).
So, if we would match the size of Gaza with Ukraine (multiply daily killings by 15), that would mean that Israeli killing ratio for the same population size would be 4.849 civilians killed per day as compared Russians killing only 3 civilians per day. But even without considering the size, the difference of 323 vs 3 killed civilians a day is huge!
Seeing the difference in killing ratio in both the peace-time US and war in Gaza, one can conclude that Russians are very, very, very cautious about harming civilians!
There is no evidence that Russians ever did any shootings of civilians like what NATO-backed Israelis and Hamas did, so, when some unevacuated civilians die during missile attacks, artillery shillings, bombings outside shelters or bunkers despite air raids, one needs to question whether they were civilians in true sense of the word.
Here[»] is just one of many instances of civilians ignoring air-raid alarm – instead of going to a shelter, they prefer to perform on the street for some social media post (shooting it with a phone camera). If they get killed, is this really Russia's fault or their own? Many civilians get killed by accident, even by Ukrainian air defense debris.
But if you are still not convinced, compare it to American-led Global War On Terror[+] during which Americans and their allies killed on average 55 civilians per day! Americans and their allies killed over 432.000[+] civilians (while around 4 million civilians altogether died due to indirect effects[+], such as famine, injuries, disease, etc.) in more than five countries[+] during GWOT (Oct. 2001 – March 2023 = 7.835 days[+]) launched because of the US 9/11 attack (2.977 victims[+]) but no one condemns them – how come? Less than a couple thousands of civilians died in Ukraine because of Russians for which they are vilified as “evil butchers”[+] but what about Americans who slaughtered hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians?! This is, of course, not to justify Russian war crimes but to put things in perspective and appeal: if we are to vilify civilian killers, let’s be fair and do that for all the other countries and their leaders who also did it, otherwise let’s all be civil.
Another proof that Russians are very, very cautious about harming civilians is the fact that they launch all or most of their missile attacks during the night, so as to avoid potential civilian casualties. A few times that missile attacks were launched during a day is when the target was an event rather than a location, such as a concentration of Ukrainian military in some meeting[+][+].
The Ukrainian army has been accused[+][+][+][»][»][+] of violating international humanitarian law by the use of human shields and locating military objectives within densely populated areas without removing civilians to safer areas. International humanitarian law requires all parties to the conflict to avoid, to the extent feasible, "locating military objectives within or near densely populated areas"[+] and requires them to "remove civilian persons and objects under its control from the vicinity of military objectives"[+]. (Russians are also guilty of endangering their civilians but we do not make it an issue here because the topic here is Ukrainian civilian casualties.)
Contrary to international law, AFU14 uses fighting tactics that involve utilizing the presence of civilians to render certain areas immune from military operations. The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights expressed concern about Ukrainian armed forces taking up positions close to civilian objects without taking measures to protect civilians. OHCHR documented the consequences of these fighting tactics in a case of a care house in Stara Krasnianka[+][»] where the Ukrainian army had set up a firing position without first evacuating the residents.
When you see a report on "Russians striking a residential building" think of this video[»] showing AFU troops with their tanks and infantry vehicles in residential area.
In other words, in most or many cases, if Ukrainian civilians get killed or injured, it is the fault of the Ukrainian army for violating the laws about protecting civilians.
Here is one of many pieces of evidence[»] that Russians do not deliberately kill civilians, even when civilians are ferociously insulting them (shouting at them “ubice” which means murderers) and hindering a military operation – if the Russian soldiers really kill civilians, then this was the chance. If they didn't shoot them there, why should they shoot civilians anywhere else? It was easy for the crowd to be brave when they confronted such a decent army. A commentator commented with some evidence[+] that “Russians behave far more humanely than Americans. The US military would never stop and would just drive through the crowd.” Another one commented[+] “Iraqi civilians were shot from distance and carpet bombed if anyone came near convoy to protest”, suggesting Russian soldiers act more humanly than Americans. Another one commented[+] “Clearly they are not the barbarians…”, seeing their decent response.
Another footage[»] showcases how Russian Chechen soldiers treat Ukrainian civilians with respect, explaining to them that they are not at war with them and how they can get some humanitarian aid. Why would they then kill civilians elsewhere?
Furthermore, Ukrainians keep claiming that Russians target and kill civilians in the areas that Ukraine declared and conducted compulsorily massive evacuations – if a town is evacuated, that means there should be no civilians there and so it is a legitimate target as military occupies it. The propagandists count on the public's ignorance given that it is hard for common people to keep up with all the developments in the war in Ukraine.
For instance, the left-bank side of the Dnipro River in the southern Kherson region was mandatorily evacuated from all civilians in mid-September 2023 during the Ukrainian counteroffensive when AFU was accumulating a huge number of troops in that area preparing to counterattack from there onto the right bank of the river. A large concentration of AFU needed to take up most of the civilian areas, which then became military zones and as such Russian targets. Governor Prokudin said[+], “The Regional Defense Counsel of Kherson decided to compulsorily evacuate families with children from areas subject to constant enemy fire.” However, when Russians, counting on the area being officially evacuated 20 days ago, dropped many bombs[»] on 4 October, all Ukrainian officials reported[+][+] was how Russians attacked a hospital and injured some civilians. An average public member takes that to mean how cruel Russians are, not bothering to investigate the context and the holes in the narrative – how is it that a dozen huge bombs shell several villages but injure only two civilians and no soldiers?
In another instance, the whole border zone of the Kharkiv region (37 towns and villages near the northeastern front line) was evacuated in mid-August 2023[+], but on 5 October 2023, Ukrainian officials reported[+] how a Russian missile struck a village cafe and store there in a small village Hroza, close to the Russia border, killing 59 people attending a funeral reception, including a child (this must be always accentuated to suggest how evil Russians are). Never mind that this village was officially evacuated (if an area had an official mandatory evacuation, then it may be legitimate military target, as civilians should have been evacuated) and probably pro-Russian15 with ethnic Russians, and that the only ones who refused the Ukrainian order to evacuate were those (ethnic Russians) who were waiting for Russian forces to liberate them[+] and that Ukrainian nationalists were gladly shelling and killing all such “Russian collaborators” especially those who refused[+] to evacuate (let AFU soldiers take shelter in their homes) and favored the Russians. And never mind that Russia had no motive nor gain to strike a café in a region where many ethnic Russians live. And never mind that suspiciously16 Russians always kill civilians in towns with ethnic Russians but almost never in Western Ukraine and unlike Russians, Ukrainians are never condemned for having killed thousands of civilians! OHCHR urged[+] Russia to acknowledge responsibility for the civilian casualties but how came they never urge Ukraine to do the same for thousands of ethnic Russian civilians they killed?! No, OHCHR is not biased, just ask them, they’ll tell you, and when they do, it must be true because, you know, they are holy OHCHR, not a US-puppet17! And OHCHR did not hold local Ukrainian authorities accountable at all for not executing the Kyiv order of a mandatory evacuation[+] and OHCHR did not even question whether far-off Russians were counting on the area being officially evacuated and could not know that Ukrainians haven't evacuated the area after all, because it is all about vilifying Russia. And most of all, never mind that this was funeral of the high-ranking Ukrainian nationalist – a local member of the Ukrainian armed forces and that military personnel were present there, which ingenious OHCHR[+] doubts, because, you know, why would his brothers in arms come to his funeral, right? Army mates just don't do such a silly thing, right? None of that matters because the only thing that matters is that some civilians, including a child were killed18 by the Russians. Russian military channels claimed that there were many military personnel at the commemoration, including high-ranking officers, which made it a legit target. As usual, Ukrainian authorities and their supporters at OHCHR denied it so as to vilify the Russians for allegedly targeting civilians. Russian authorities have neither denied nor officially acknowledged responsibility for the attack although representatives1920 of the Russian authorities did assert in a way that the funeral gathering was a legitimate military objective due to concentration of troops at the site. From the point of view of international humanitarian law, a funeral gathering may indeed be a legitimate military objective if military personnel attend it, no matter how dressed they are, as civilians or soldiers, as any concentrations of troops is a legitimate military target, especially if among them is military leadership, such as a commander. But of course, in this case, none of his comrades came to his funeral and a commander of the fallen soldier could not possibly be there because, erm, Ukrainian commanders do not bother to attend funerals of their fallen soldiers, their underlings, or so they tell us in a way. Who is buying it? Allegedly, the men who wore uniforms were former soldiers and did it only to respect the dead. Hm. The fact that they do not allow Russians to investigate such incidents undermines the credibility of biased sources. Assuming it is true that indeed none of buried soldier's comrades bothered to come to commemorate his death but "relatives" from Poland came (hm, came to a war zone not fearing for their lives; we’d like to see the proof of them being relatives and their travel tickets but OHCHR saw no need to check if they were mercenaries), what does that say about Ukrainians? Russians may have received a false tip from the local informers[+] and might have made a mistake of trusting the informers but that no one from the buried soldier’s unit came to his funeral says that they are all either dead or unappreciative of his ultimate sacrifice. Very sad either way.
It makes us wonder whether Ukrainian informers work for Kyiv rather than Moscow. Conveniently[+] for Zelensky, both attacks happened while he was on a fundraising trip to Spain, where he attended a summit of around 50 European leaders to drum up more support, so he used that to plead for air defense aid and raise empathy by the sponsors to dig deeper into their pockets. Peculiarly, these attacks on civilians mostly happen when Zelensky needs to raise money or justify his fundraising or sensitize the Western public to the need for aid. The prior one was in Kostiantynivka during Blinken's visit in September 2023, which was only weeks later, after Blinken already gave $1 billion, exposed[+] by the New York Times21 to be a Ukrainian missile strike on its own people.
There are countless instances where Ukrainians caused their own civilians to die during evacuation, such as Irpin bridge evacuation on 6 March 2022. As Russian troops began to approach Kyiv, people living in the northwestern suburbs of the capital got caught up in heavy street-by-street fighting. The main bridge crossing the Irpin River was destroyed by Ukrainians to thwart a Russian advance, which made evacuations difficult. According to the Ukrainian authorities, hundreds of civilians died attempting to flee.
We need to also expose the fakes as well as double standards so as to invite everyone to stand up to them rather than be complicit. There have been plenty instances when Kyiv and NATO authorities justified and even praised killing of Russian civilians:
For instance, when Ukraine attacked the Russian $3,7 billion Crimean Bridge killing some civilians in July 2023, the Kyiv authorities and most other Ukrainians justified and even perversely praised[ꚛ][ꚛ][+][ꚛ] the deaths of the civilians (parents of the then-orphaned child) by saying it was a military target and Russia should not allow people to be there. We will not go into the ridiculousness of that statement but reverse it: By the same token, Ukraine should then also not allow people to use any of their bridges, roads, railways, or buildings that their military occasionally use and therefore not condemn Russians if their drones or missiles kill civilians there. Following Ukrainian rationale, if Kyiv officials justify their attacks on targets used mostly by civilians, then Russians are granted to give Ukraine a dose of its own medicine by also striking its infrastructure used by both military and civilians.
We use this opportunity to call on all Ukrainian civilians to avoid using bridges, roads, railways, or buildings used by the military as they are considered military targets by Ukrainian authorities, which then Russians are equally allowed to target and so kill you!
Also, in September 2022, after Ukraine’s missiles hit civilian targets such as an administration building in Kherson (which was under Russian control) killing civilians, Zelensky aide Mikhail Podoliak said[»][+] that civilian officials are 'legitimate targets'. Well, that means that if Russians kill him and the likes of him, it would be legitimate.
Ukraine is not alone in justifying murdering innocent civilians but only Russian civilians. In another double standard case, alleging that killing Russian civilians is acceptable but not Ukrainian ones, warmongers German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and her Estonian counterpart said[+] at a joint press conference that they consider attacks on civilian targets in Moscow by Ukrainian drones to be completely legitimate. Well then, if the NATO countries’ top “diplomats” say that attacks on civilian targets are legitimate, who are Russians to dispute that?! Just do not complain then when they, too, hit legitimate civilian targets.
Civilian casualties are unfortunate but unavoidable collateral damage[+] of every war, including all the wars started by the US and other NATO countries, which is why they have no right to condemn Russia for something they themselves are even more guilty of (down with Western or American exceptionalism[+], their double standards and mantra[»] “rules for thee and not for me”[+][+] “or my allies” – Israel[»]). The human cost of American post-9/11 wars or so-called Western “Global War on Terror” (GWOT22) is almost one million[+][+] murdered people, mostly civilians, and no one has been held accountable! The globalists (Jesuits’ recruits[*]) running most of the Western governments and policymaking institutions managed to wipe out almost a million humans from the face of the Earth, following the agenda of their think thank The Club of Rome[»][+] (solving pressing global issues with a Master Plan using measures for depopulation, etc.) and got away with it.
Globalists are eugenicists[+] who consider millions of deaths to be collateral damage, which serves their “higher” purpose and depopulation agenda. According to self-serving, delusional globalists, planet Earth can't sustain its current population number, which is why they welcome (and even provoke) any depopulation mechanisms and conditions including wars, pandemics, nuclear catastrophes, forced sterilization (of “inferior” immigrants), birth control, using condoms, infertility measures[»], porn and masturbation to avoid sexual contact, giving rights and prominence to childless LGBT+ communities[+], etc. The most peculiar is the fact that depopulation is occurring only in Eastern Europe, mostly by Slavs! Have a look at this evidence[ꚛ] showing population change in Europe and adjacent countries since the collapse of the socialist bloc until the beginning of the SMO – why are Slavs being depopulated and who is behind this Nazi-like agenda? How Jesuits (a.k.a. Fremasons, Illuminati, etc.) are behind the war in Ukraine and how all roads lead to Rome (Jesuits HQ) is explained in a separate article[*].
The thing they don’t tell you about civilian targets is that the Ukrainian army intentionally uses them to hide and to blame the Russians for war crimes after they attack them. In August 2022, Amnesty International published a study[+] revealing that since the start of the war in February, Ukrainian forces have endangered civilians by establishing bases and operating weapons systems in civilian areas such as residential areas, schools, hospitals, and shopping malls, which is a violation of international law. Even Ukrainian authorities23, soldiers, and foreign mercenaries have confirmed that Ukrainian armed forces maintain a heavy presence in civilian areas, such as schools. So, all it takes is for Ukraine to say, ‘Ah! They hit a school!’ And since the oblivious public has no idea of Ukrainian war crimes of using schools to harbor the military, that cumulates into a beneficial media narrative on their part. This is what we mean by the distortion of data, which common people take at face value and so build their hatred toward the Russians and sympathy for the Ukrainians.
Here[»][»][»] are just a couple of many evidence of how the Ukrainian military uses civilian objects such as ambulances to transport soldiers and weapons, so, do not be fooled when Ukrainians and NATO condemn Russia for targeting civilians if Russians hit such objects – they are legitimate military targets because military uses them for military purposes, even though it is a war crime.
Another couple of examples[»][»] of Ukrainian forces storing armor in grain silos. When they get hit, they cry that civilian infrastructure or food supply is attacked.
Another example[»] of Ukrainian forces using trains and then they cry that a train station (“civilian infrastructure facilities”) is hit like in Dnipro[+] in April 2024.
Another example of Ukrainian forces endangering civilians by establishing bases in shopping malls and of Western propaganda (or distortion of data) regarding accusations of Russia for shelling civilian targets is the Washington Post article[+] about a large explosion that partially destroyed a Kyiv shopping mall, killing at least 8 – while making sure to condemn Russians for killing civilians, they omitted to mention that there was evidence[ꚛ][»][»] of military vehicles and artillery unit being parked in that shopping mall! That makes it a military rather than a civilian target and thus should have been reported as the most likely reason why Russia carried a missile strike there at midnight on Sunday when no civilians should have been at the location anyway, especially due to the curfew from 8 p.m. each night. They also omitted to mention that stationing military equipment in civilian areas and so endangering civilians is a war crime committed by Ukraine. To make it worse, instead of blaming themselves for the war crime of using civilian objects, Kyiv authorities blamed civilians for revealing their crime, shaming[»] and even detaining[+] the Kyiv residents who posted in social networks photos and videos of AFU heavy vehicles harbored within the premises of the ‘Retroville’ shopping center. The Kyiv regime24 has no shame! The same applies to Ukrainian media that wrote[+] that “The tragedy could have been avoided if users don’t post pictures of our military equipment, parked near the shopping center” rather than “The tragedy could have been avoided if our military didn't park their equipment in the shopping center”! Ukrainian blame-shifting is second to none.
We use this opportunity to call on all Ukrainian civilians to distance yourselves or avoid going near any soldiers and military equipment as they are considered military targets, which can easily get you killed!
As you see, Ukraine’s innuendos on “Russia’s deadly atrocities in Ukraine” are aimed to diverse attention from the military crimes committed by Ukraine itself.
Furthermore, the thing they don’t tell you about civilian casualties is the heedlessness of Ukrainian civilians. Russians count on air raid sirens being turned on and heeded whenever they launch air strikes, so if despite sirens, civilians do not go to shelters or bunkers, it is more their fault than Russian if they get harmed due to their negligence of the rules of the war. Whenever air raid sirens go off, civilians are obliged to take cover instead of ignoring it. Understandably, after a while, people get weary of sirens and disregard them but this is not Russia's fault then. There is a lot of evidence[»] of Ukrainian civilians ignoring air raid sirens, which gets Russia off the hook.
